wow, almost within the realm of affordability for me, now the thing is, who is gonna get the first ones, there is sure to be a high demand for them and a limited supply.

Ok, here it is, my suggestion for what would become the forum's hottest, most posted too, most read, most complained about and most controversial thread:

I want to see the age old battle between the 'mag and the 'cocker brought back. What can WGP or its variants bring to the table (mechanical of course) to compete with the hAIR?
Curiously,
LukeMicromag w/ ReTro-Valve & LVL-X
Black Intelli-Frame w/ blade trigger
68/3K Crossfire & DYE armor
Ricochet Apache
'02 WGP Blue STO w/ Shocktech and Free-Flow internals
Eclipse e'blade
68/3K ACI & DYE armor
Full SP Freak Kit (BOO!)
HALO-B
Oh yeah, dancing bananas...

Thanks for the update Colin thats great! I'm sure I'm not the only one who will be lining up to buy one when they come out regardless who's making it!

AGD Did someone call me?
You should go to each gun manufacturers forum or call them up. Ask the OWNER of the company why his gun is better. When you get your answers come back here and tell us what they said.
You should buy my gun because I have 5000 posts that say I care.

HISTORY LESSON:
Since the early 1990s, wherever you've seen a 'Mag, you've also seen the 'cocker.
They've run neck and neck for years. What makes you think anything is different this time around...?VENGEANCE PAINTBALL DISTRIBUTORS

Wow, that's awesome. Glad to hear about progress. Thanks for considering the old AGD frame/grip trade in deal. I asked about this/suggested this a few months ago, comparing it to the X-Valve/Classic Valve trade but people made fun of me. They just laughed and said "yeah right". I really hope it comes out in a Y-Grip and a Vertical Grip.Originally posted by nicadUpdate-
we now have enough legal fileings in place to start moving forward... but there is still a kink or two in the works. There is another company (who shall remain nameless at this time) who is claiming prior and broader protection. We are in the process of getting more information from them and hopefully work it all out very soon.
In the mean time I have been quitely working on how to install everything into an I-frame, Y-frame, and the Vert frames that are out there. Once all legalities are out of the way, I hope to at least be making these myself (by hand for now) and have some available for sale before the end of the year. Negotiations are still in effect with AGD, but AT THIS POINT there is a good chance they will not be picking it up. This is subject to change. Please do not flood Tom with requests.. there are reasons for every decision. :)
I am trying to keep the price around $250 (this would include the triggerframe), and offer some sort of a tradein discount on your existing grip if you send it in.
I cant really comment more on the legals yet. I will, however, say that the "other company" is not the G-force guys with the Super-68 marker.
out!

Very true, but you dont always see mags when you see cockers.Originally posted by rabidchihauhauHISTORY LESSON:

I cant wait. I'm not sure if I will buy a Jackal frame and forget about the walkability. Buy the stupidily fast hAir, or the mQ-valve to support the local guys. Too many choices.
I'm very happy to hear the progres.
This may sound odd, but I was excited when I heard the company wasnt 68. That means there's someone else out there who is also pushing the envelope.Hey, look at that! It's Santa!

I dont know too much about the feelings of Glenn and his son, but I dont think it's them. I am very sure they could come up with a walkable mechanical if you give them enough time. But I dont think they would create legal problems with Collin. PPS just seems like a company that has been into paintball too long and one that doesnt want to get involved with legal matters.Originally posted by deathstalkerMy money is on PPS, but it's just an uninformed opinion. :)Hey, look at that! 'issues' vs 'problems'
I believe the word used by Colin in one of his updates was 'issues' not 'problems'.
While I am aware that most people have thrown spelling, grammer and syntax out the window - especially on the net (and I'm as guilty as anyone else), we have got to at least maintain an appreciation for semantics.
An 'issue' in this context implies that there are things that need to be discussed, and use of that word definately maintains a neutral feel. A 'problem' in this context invokes all of the SP bashing, negative, bad guys of the industry doing a dirty feelings we're all familiar with.
Before we go making more problems for ourselves, lets make sure that its a real 'problem' and not an 'issue'.
A problem would imply that Colin's concept will never see the light of day, that other people are poised to sue him if he even talks about it, that evil powers are plotting their inevitable dastardly takeover of the industry, that all of you will be forced (FORCED!) to use equipment you don't like, legislation will be enacted that will make your favorite marker illegal to own, let alone use, and that taking Colin's side in the debate will somehow be shoehorned in with terrorististic activities and, instead of shooting a really cool trigger, you'll be sitting in a dark cell, without benefit of counsel, incommunicado, while the guards outside snicker and make passing comments about having you shipped off to Abu Gharaib...
An issue could mean - anything. It could mean that someone, somewhere, saw something that resembled a patent and they thought there were some claims in there that might impact Colin's IP application - even though the patent in question issued in 1905 to some guy named Tesla.... it could mean that Colin is selling his device outright to someone else... it could mean he'll have to purchase a license... it could mean that he's lining up cheap chinese labor (can't get any cheaper than 'meet your quota or we kill you...') - it could mean he's redesigning the entire thing from scratch and it will be ten times better than anything you've seen so far.VENGEANCE PAINTBALL DISTRIBUTORS

I don't know about the stops, but I'd love to see this thing in a vert frame.Originally posted by jewie27Now back to the subject, anyone know if there will be only one trigger stop or two? Do you prefer Y-Grip/Vert Grip/or 45 grip for the HAir trigger.
