Ion shells are pretty tough...

My Ion had a minor leak today, which I tried unsuccessfully to fix - in fact by the time I was done it was leaking heavily. One of the microline fittings in the body was cracked and leaking, and on removing it the threads broke in half in the marker, so I got to dig them out. This took some time to find, and repeated dissassembly of the marker and looking at.

Ion sells will survive being tossed into the trunk carelessly, being thrown into the trunk in anger, and even being kicked - pretty darn strong things

Well the fact that thousands were ordered before anyone had even seen one in person speaks to it being more hype than "good" products.

Of course now that they're out there the hype is proving to be pretty accurate. I know I'm getting one.

So the way it looks and the fact that it comes with ramping make it a piece? Interesting. I tend to judge things based on performance but that's just me.

just because a lot of people bought them as soon as they came out doesnt mean they are good. All it means is that SP did an amazing job of hype and advertising.
