Yes it is, but that does not stop that fact that SP is racking in the money now at other's expenses.

whatever. you are taking it way to personally. SP is a corporation, and the whole goal of a corporation is to make as much money as possible. if you were CEO of SP, would you have decided to "be nice" to the other smaller paintball companies and aloow them to compete in the industry? no, you would have been fired on the spot.

This has been said many time and is completely correct. Does it really make it "right?" I don't think so personaly but I'm still buying an Ion. Shows how far my principles go I guess.

the ion is gonna create a revolution. there will be a race to sell aluminum guns before every company comes out with cheaper, lighter, and better composite ones (not the titanium rip-offs like the DMC).

ill be gladly waiting for all the people who complained about the "plastic shocker" and its "weak body" when in 5 years they are buying a clone from icd.

For god sake. If you don't like ramping don't use it. It's really not any different than having a gun that lets you set it to have 20bps trigger bounce except for the fact that ramping is generaly capped.

yes jimmy, i would. when will it end? i mean bps. when some wanna be tourny player hurts his buddy in somebodys back woodlot? i know it would'nt bother most tourny players, because they "need" to shoot faster. ok. fine. i've been playing scince 1985 and at 37 i don't "need" to shoot x amount of bps to play my rec/scen. ball i enjoy. i don't get off on laughing at the poor sap who gets lite up for no reason. maybe you do. maybe you don't. it just seems to me that the people who push for things like ramping markers and cheater boards could care less about safty. and go ahead and flame me. enough people get hurt, we'll see what happens to paintball. wheres lohman when i need him

Paintball Talk is the main forum for Automags.org. Here is where we talk about the sport of paintball in general and make announcements relating to the forum and website.

It is my beleif that ramping markers are going to cause a serious threat to paintball. They are clearly in violation of ASTM standards. Should someone be injured by one, without its use being backed by other scientific standards that prove there safety someone is going to loose a lot of money in civil court. It is my beleif that there is a distinct possibility they are also going to find themselves on the wrong side of criminal negligence charges

well this isnt 1985 anymore now is it? paintball markers have changed into something completely diferent . and just becasue you dont like the "cheater" or "ramping" boards doesnt mean they are going to go away. you're simply going to have to adapt.

and i dont sit there and blast 17bps at some poor guy out in the open. mostly the only time i rip on my gun is off the break. sure i may do short strings of 5 or 6 balls very quick, but thats more for suppresion fire.

Increased ROF All Predator installs come with QEV valves. Using the stock bolt and stock solenoid, your maximum rate of fire will instantly increase to over 25-bps. You don't need a whole new solenoid to reach this speed.

                              Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: Does this increase the rate of fire? How much?
A: Yes, this will increase the stock ROF to 25+ bps with the stock solenoid and stock bolt kit.

The Predator is NOT capped...feed it 30+ balls and it will fire them..the stock components may well drop the rate of fire but that is the stock parts not the board doing this.
