And about the grip, I still do not agree. I am awaiting a response from Bunkerking. I guess 2 paintball companies would never get together to make a product huh?! If the grips end up being Bunkerking grips solely, I will inform Bunkerking to tell at least 6 sites to update their misinforming information. I would eat my words if I checked one site that gave out the wrong info, but 6? That is a little misleading and I seriously doubt that 6 sites would have typos like that. But if I am worng, then I am wrong. I can live with that.

you should know that if hybrid makes it, it will have an h, or HYBRID on the grips somewhere. no BK.

Im not saying effing and stfu etc in defense of hybrid, but in defense of myself for the ppl that keep spewing misinformation. See, even you have the decency to WAIT after finding out some info from BK, BEFORE posting that......hey BK did this or that. slarty didnt, he was so anxious, as soon as he got ONE non official statement from someone at IOI, he posts it up and gets all the kiddies to follow up saying "Yep, its true, hybrid stole it.....they are theives, they had no right to use that image, etc, w/ such little info to go by" Just cause some images they use are the same images seen elsewhere and nobody has proven yet that the images where STOLEN, or USED W/O permission, yet everyone keeps agreeing that its already been decided....and its official....."hybrid stole them"

and for that I give the stfu, cause it deserves it. Many ppl are making strong criminal accusations about hybrid w/ so little info and doing so publicly and in the process purposefully damaging to hybrid technologies. And it IS LIBEL until proven to be true.....and until this point, is not prove.....so therefore I give thee stfu.

Quit spouting misinformation. Never once did he call himself a "Hero". If he decided to post a few threads to poit to himself and say "hey, look at me" then calling him an attention whore would be a more accurate description. But running around saying that he isn't a hero, I mean come on, where did that come from? Read the quote in my first post about it.

I have been on the Internet since 1992, before the WWW was graphical and Gopher was the source of most information. So I have been around a long time and I have never heard the terms e-popular or e-cool. I guess it's just the sites and forums I tend to visit don't consist of 10yo kids.

I would also like to point out from the email that slarty sent to IOI that he said

he wants to know if hybrid has permission to sell "hitman contracts brand products"

the secretary Niels said they do not. What if he misunderstood "hitman brand products" as video games, t-shirts or whatever that are "hitman contract brand" He NEVER mentioned the use of an image, grips, or anything of the like. Im sure IOI just looked at their licensed distributor list and didnt see hybrid, so they got concerned that they may be selling burned games or something illegally. I actually see that as being a very likely scenario.

The email is not very precise as to "grips, or images" being in question. And Im sure there are a lot of "hitman contracts" items, and paintball grips aint one of them that IOI sells.

Slarty never said, "does hybrid have permission to use the image?"

So, by him bragging about it on more posts w/ THAT being the ONLY info.... makes him even more stupid.

Its crap like this that serves no purpose whatsoever other than to start trouble, cause bad feelings and make paintball in general and the people who play it look bad.

No one here has ZERO to do with any of Hybrid/Copyright issue. It has ZERO impact on anyone's intellectual property, ZERO impact on their wallets and ZERO impact on their lives.

I dont know what SlartyBartFasts motives where for starting all of this. Maybe he was looking for attention, maybe he has genuine concern and thinks hes some kind of crusader. I dont care. This was NONE of his business. Its none of yours, and its none of mine. It is between Hybrid and whomever owns the rights to those images.

This has done nothing but cause trouble and arguments. The most that will come out of this thread will be a bunch of AOer's P.O.'d at each other.
