Hybrid has a Bad Day

After reading through most of the million page threads, I have come to a pretty healthy conclusion:

However, I will not stand here and pretend to be some Hybrid fanboy, who is obviously just pissed you could have hurt his favorite company. No, although I like Hybrid, and think they make some cool products, will admit that they should most definitely not completely ripoff someone elses work.

With that aside... I think that anyone with a brain (obviously not some people...) can tell that he merely instigated this, hoping to stir up crap. Instigator. In this scenario, that is all you are.

Even if you were genuinly concerned, and actually gave a damn about the integrity of IOI (which I'm pretty certain you do not), that was not the first company you should have contacted. You aproached this entire situation hoping to create some drama, slap your dick in someones face, and smile while looking down upon the hoards of forum-goers going up in arms.

No... If you were REALLY concerned, you would have contacted Hybrid. You would have told them that you were CONCERNED that they could get into trouble, and that you didn't particularly respect the fact that (in your opinion) they were ripping off the Hitman image. You would have tried to come to some resolution that way, or hell, maybe even found that they had already made sure they were not in violation of the Hitman imagery.

By contacting them first, whether Hybrid gets into ANY trouble whatsoever, completely bypassed any problems that may ensue.

You don't give a damn, and don't pretend to. You are just a dick. The mere fact that you posted this on two forums, and made a seperate thread about it on one shows you just want to bring attention to yourself. Like I said before, anyone who isn't a total retard will see through your crap.

I'm not going to get into the debate of how much of a prick SBF is or is not, but the undisputable fact is simple: Hybrid knowingly infringed on IOI's copyright. An email to Hybrid would accomplish nothing, because Hybrid must know that they are using that image without permission because, well, they're the ones that put it on the grips.

Hybrid profited from the use of an image (because otherwise, they would have left the grips blank...) which they did not create and are not paying royalties for. I don't believe that IOI is losing money because of the production of the grips. So, was reporting this to IOI the right thing to do?
Without copyright protection, people will be far less likely to produce, especially digital images which are easily copied.

Squid if Hybrid knew it was ripping off IOI and was just producing the grips with consent from IOI and hoping to get by on the fact that IOI wouldn't find out, then they deserve whatever is coming to them. What difference does it make if Hybrid was contacted first? Why should a guilty company (if they turn out to be guilty, which looks like the case) be allowed to cover up what they did? If they are guilty I hope they get busted. There is no excuse for stealing intellectual property, none. And BRUCE LEE GRIPS ARE MADE BY BK FOR THE LAST TIME. Hybrid doesnt make them. The sites that sell them as hybrid grips have labeled them so in error. www.bunkerking.com go look for yourself.

if the bruce lee thing on the BK grips is also intellectual property then someone should contact BUNKERKING and warn them. i was on slarty's side on this and still think it was wrong for hybrid to steal logo's but it is obvious he was doing it to piss people off, to make a scene, and to feel big about himself or he would have contacted hybrid first. that being said i doubt hybrid would have cared about what he had to say and he probably would have had to contact IOI anyways.

ALright this is getting to make AO look stupid. Ive got ppl posting in my other threads calling my bruce lee grips that arent even on my gun anymore hybrid grips. And one fool that keeps insisting they are made by hybrid even after the link is provide for bunkerking website and ALL the pictures have BK on the grips.

Then you have ppl that keep insisting that hybrid has commited a crime and "know" for sure that they stole the image when you have no merit saying so. The image may very well the be the same image, but how do you ppl know for a fact that hybrid didnt have legal permissions to produce them? Just cause one rep says so, and that they are "looking into it" Doesnt mean that is 100% undeniably true the stole it. IT may be the same image, but stop accusing them of having stole the image w/ such little info.

how do you KNOW that. What if hybrid wouldve gave him accurate info or show/prove they have legal permissions to use the images theyve used to make ALL their grips. Im sure a company w/ any sense would KNOW that they ahve to have legal permissions to use those images and ALL of them, do you seriously think they would be stealing ALL those images and making money only for it to be questioned and sued for damages. Most american business are smarter than that.

I think I have read just about every post on this topic, both here and on PBN and where did he ever say he was a "Hero" for doing what he did? All he did was ask a company a simple question and they responded. He posted both the question and response and that was that. I don't see a "hero" here, I see a man do something he thinks is right.

If he did not bring it to their attention, someone else would have at some point I am sure. This does not make him a bad guy or even a "snitch".

he doesnt have to use the words hero or brag, but simply starting the posts "hybrid has a bad day" and "looks live Ive kicked the hornets nest " on 2 or more public forums is enough to consider it bragging. He doesnt have to say......" Hey guys, Im posting to brag about myself, look what I did, arent I soo cool"

That does make him a snitch, and like has been said before, he didnt 'have' to contact IOI to find out. When you stir poop, it stinks.
