I would also like to point out from the email that slarty sent to IOI that he said

he wants to know if hybrid has permission to sell "hitman contracts brand products"

the secretary Niels said they do not. What if he misunderstood "hitman brand products" as video games, t-shirts or whatever that are "hitman contract brand" He NEVER mentioned the use of an image, grips, or anything of the like. Im sure IOI just looked at their licensed distributor list and didnt see hybrid, so they got concerned that they may be selling burned games or something illegally. I actually see that as being a very likely scenario.

The email is not very precise as to "grips, or images" being in question. And Im sure there are a lot of "hitman contracts" items, and paintball grips aint one of them that IOI sells.

Slarty never said, "does hybrid have permission to use the image?"

So, by him bragging about it on more posts w/ THAT being the ONLY info.... makes him even more stupid.

The point was simply made because he has done possible damage to an american business from abroad. And since when did ppl in canada begin to worry about what hybrid is doing in america.

And As Ive said again and again. Im not happy w/ him because I love paintball more than playing PS2 or whatever console that hitman contracts game is on. In fact, Ive played it before and it sucked. his actions are ruining paintball and its progression by bad publicity and damaging the industry.

No, I've actually been following this argument for a while. If you go back and read your post that I quoted, you had some inaccuracies as to what SBF asked IOI, which I felt needed to be pointed out. I also wanted to touch on your previous comments about IOI's response. I'm pretty sure that the person that responded to SBF would be qualified enough and informed enough to give an accurate statement as to if Hybrid has a license for the IP in question.

As a side note, I followed the link given in SBF's PBN post, and I could not find any of the grips in question, anymore. That does seem odd, because when this debate first started, I could have sworn I'd seen them on there.

I'm finding a hard time faulting SBF for mailing IOI first, even if it wasn't random what address he located first.
If you have a hunch that a company has a shady buisness practice regarding IP infringment and you contact THEM about it what do you expect to hear?
'Its liscenced.'
'Its a sweat shop knockoff.'
'It's, uh, our own design, uh, yeah.'
