Jaan, was it you I sold that barrel too? If so, it's an 8" Check It barrel. Quite nice. And I've always loved that gun.Autocockers are the greatest markers ever made.

Me likey!Originally posted by FantomJust finished puting Absinthe together.
Not really milslim but better....dedicated to woodsball.
It is light and maneuverable. Has great ergonomics.
Soon to have a Hyperframe.
The camo tape around the valve is a nice touch. Was the body annoed or painted?

My Tactical EMag with camo Boost VLocity and digicamo St!ffi Switch Kit Carbon fiber barrel, Advanced Tactical Camera from Pacific, a CCM low-rise clamping feed neck, Planet Eclipse OOPS on/off and a Crossfire bottle. That's actually my girlfriend Jen playing with it. Fast, ridiculously accurate and, of course, never breaks paint...ever. Photo courtesy scenariosource.com

The rail is a standard Tac wingless rail that came on the older tacs. The ULE milling/programming was done on a CNC machining centre by me, and during milling i've adjusted and added a lot of cuts.Originally posted by Pudgey51FiXeL, that rail is sick man, u do it urself or someone else do it?
pic of milling in progress
Also the 15 degree front bottle adapter was made from a original classic FBA, made to fit a RT style rail. A few weeks ago i added a extra 1/8 npt port in the front for the LPR and put some more adjustments on the pneu setup. The LP hose runs trough the rail now, and i've modified a X7 foregrip to fit my tac. (with the LPR inside) Also i've added a few accents to make this a true custom gun.
No pics as of yet, since i have some more things to do, and i want to enter this in a MOTM.

The body was annoed. It was my first try at it. I thought it was a disaster. I intended to be a dark green color. The "mistake" I made was to put the body into the dye bath when the dye was warm, so what happened is that not much dye went into the hydrated silicon oxide layer before the pores closed, but it went in bands, so now it produces an iridescent effect. Very cool. The actual color actually matches the local vegetation better than if it would have been dark green, so I decided to leave it like that. By the way, the body is a clone micromag. I don't know who made it but if you want one, Jay8541 still has several for sale.
The cammi on the valve is a stick-on cloth material and I'm sure will start falling off or unraveling soon.
So far this has been the best fitting and best performing marker I have own.
I'm waiting for an RT on/off coming fom AGD to be able to use the hyperframe I have for it and waiting as well for a J&J 14' ceramic barrel.
The QLoader works fantastic and balances the marker perfectly with the 22 cu inches tank that I use as a butt stock. BTW I bought the tank from WEVO.com. It gives me about 220 shots which is good for 2 QLoader pods and more than ample for a day of playing (my style, I don't waste much paint).

Yeah, I've been thinking about doing a similar thing with a Tac-One body. Definitely like that effect, reminds me of the detail you could get by drybrushing models for miniature wargames... (whoops, now you all know I'm a geekOriginally posted by WarwitchI agree with Twilight, looks good. From the pics the ano looks like it has a "combat worn" look.

I wish I could do that with my old Tippmann Prolite. I just couldn't justify the cost though. Also the body isn't milled enough to get the same effect.Originally posted by WarwitchI agree with Twilight, looks good. From the pics the ano looks like it has a "combat worn" look.

Thought I should add a pic of the CQB setup.
Though it was more "milsim" and I loved how well the Q tucked under the TW2 stock, the new arrangement makes for much faster loading while staying on target. I couldnt effectively shoot left with the air coming in so far back. So to remedy this I bought a ND Dropkick rail and reversed it to provide some clearance for the remote line. So Ive ditched the sim concept for a more effective setup. Now I dont have to switch hands to shoot left. I can just roll the marker over like you would with a warp but its so much more compact.
