Its a knock off of a Burris Fast Fire pistol sight: http://www.burrisoptics.com/fastfire.html . Do an Ebay search and they will pop up. I think it was like $50. ITS TINY!!! About 1.5"x2". Absolutely love it.

Until this month I have never used the internet for paintball. It has been that long since I played. This was a pf/cp 68automag that I bought Aug '92 from General Joe's paintball. Been too long to remember when I finally came up with this idea. I do remember that it was before "Saving Private Ryan" since that movie made this gun recognizable. Originally had a different expansion chamber and old duckbill bottom-line on it. Played at a local indoor "field" on November 1st, first time since early 2001, and all I had to do was replace the on/off + powertube orings!

I'm sure that the Chicago mobs of the 1920's prohibition era might have had a wee bit to do with it too. :)

I wonder how long it will be until people can no longer figure out why they're sometimes called a"Chicago Typewriter" because they've never heard someone using a typewriter...

Exactly Jaan. Im new to this forum and that was my first post. Saving private ryan was a time reference '99, and made WW2 cool again to the general public. After that movie everyone on the paintball fields from the young foreign kids that barely spoke english to the girls working the snack stand knew it. Because of gangsters with thompsons, congress passed the national firearms act in 1934 severely limiting fully automatic firearm ownership. It was designed during WWI, served in WW2, korea and even vietnam by americans and is still used abroad.

cus .45 is a good round and the Thompson is reliable and easily maintained.

Sweet mag BTW... I'd love to do that to my other one.
