ok dont wanna jack the thread but u guys with qloaders, how do the pods compare to the size of a normal pod? i figure they r heavier but r they longer? wider? same size? fill me in, debating between a qloader set up or warp.

Pretty much the same size and weight (when loaded) as a 140 pod. Little bigger. Personaly I hate the Warp yet love the Q. Only holds 100 rounds though.

will the qpods fit in a regular harness or vest?

As long as the pack/harness will accept 140 rnd. pods. Almost all of the SpecOps stuff will accomodate them.

Didn't post this before because I never really considered it milsim, though certainly woodsball. Holds its own on the airball fields, though. The Qpods fit fine in my Empire pack. Just get an elastic loop style pack and they'll fit fine. So much smaller when you only want to carry a spare pod, anyway. Any more than that and I'd have to carry more gas.

QFT. One of the reasons I went with a Q in the first place was to cut down on paint consumption. If I run "tank on gun" all I need is my 2 pod tac leg pouch. And even running remote I dont need to reach around to grab my pods. Also a huge help in keeping me from losing my Q pods on the field too since you can put the empties away instead of throwing them aside for later.

Dude, I really love that setup. Very mobile and compact, I was actually thinking of copying it, but i would need to find a small tank and get a vertical adaptor, not to mention get a Q-loader, which i had hoped on doing eventually anyway. But yeah, love that setup, it looks sweet.

Edit: How well does it work for you? Like, how many pods can you get off one full tank, and what kind of tank is that anyhow? i would like to get my hands on one.

Somehow that minimag looks just right... Not as heavy as one with a hopper and full sized tank.

Same could be said of Absinthe, small but agile.

With my own woods gun i took a different approach... I like having a hopper on top (saves on headshots) and a 68ci tank for plenty of air. Not that i shoot that much paint, but i like to have more than i would need, just in case. Also this setup works for biggames for me, since i have enough paint and air on me do do some damage, but not that much it will slow me down.

So far i didnt show my gun yet because i wanted to enter it in the MOTM, but i'm feeling generous today because i finished some detail parts:

On top are the standard stainless steel jewels that come with a wingless tac rail. Below are my CNC milled "saw tooth" jewels i made today. These were cut from 6082 aluminum, and are so thin that they bend easily. They were very hard to make because of the size and thickness, but fortunatly i have some expierence milling small pieces.

I just hope these can be annoed....

But this thread is about mill-sim markers, so here's my tac:

I call it the SovjetMag. Still working on it and probably will for the coming months. It has pneu, Palmers micro rock, custom milled 15 degree front bottle adapter, X7 AK47 modded frontgrip, SP 16" tactical barrel, Some magsmith ups, red dot, etc.

The to do list contains other grips, another loader (flecktarn does not fit) some anno jobs, some more tinkering.

Ow well, i'll get to my perfect woods marker eventually....

Great attention to detail Fix. Really has a finished look to it. Looks like you took your time and put some forethought into it.
