Actually i was planning to make this a e-tac and have gruntbull acid wash anno it. But i don't need a e-frame for woods, and when i got this marker from geekwarrior in june plans have changed constantly. At first i wanted it acid washed green/black with slime green accents, but after a while i got other plans, more milling, more dremeling, more drilling etc. I've had those russian legion grips on this marker, and after buying one sovjet star logo things got way different than i planned initially. It fitted the scope flip-up lid perfectly, and i wanted to go that way instead. The AK-47 frontgrip fits the theme perfectly, and i wanted a front grip instead of the standard bicicle grip, to have more of a rifle feel on it. All in all i think this marker will turn out well, but i still have to cover some details before i am totally sathisfied with it.

Cost is not an issue atm... Just want it done the way i like it!

Fix, that looks awesome. It may be bad, but i didn't even have to look at your description to know what kind of front grip that was. I'm a little obsessed with that gun.

Somehow that minimag looks just right... Not as heavy as one with a hopper and full sized tank.

Same could be said of Absinthe, small but agile.

With my own woods gun i took a different approach... I like having a hopper on top (saves on headshots) and a 68ci tank for plenty of air. Not that i shoot that much paint, but i like to have more than i would need, just in case. Also this setup works for biggames for me, since i have enough paint and air on me do do some damage, but not that much it will slow me down.

So far i didnt show my gun yet because i wanted to enter it in the MOTM, but i'm feeling generous today because i finished some detail parts:



On top are the standard stainless steel jewels that come with a wingless tac rail. Below are my CNC milled "saw tooth" jewels i made today. These were cut from 6082 aluminum, and are so thin that they bend easily. They were very hard to make because of the size and thickness, but fortunatly i have some expierence milling small pieces.

I just hope these can be annoed....

I call it the SovjetMag. Still working on it and probably will for the coming months. It has pneu, Palmers micro rock, custom milled 15 degree front bottle adapter, X7 AK47 modded frontgrip, SP 16" tactical barrel, Some magsmith ups, red dot, etc.

The to do list contains other grips, another loader (flecktarn does not fit) some anno jobs, some more tinkering.

Ow well, i'll get to my perfect woods marker eventually....

Ninja: pretty good idea using the Opsgear shroud to protect your CF barrel. I will have to keep that in mind.

WOW, I like Absinthes Micro, thats a sharp looking marker.

Still need a bottom line and some misc. parts. Plus I would like to re-ano it, maybe flat black.

Red Dot sight is by ATN, mounted on a UTG tri-rail, with a Barska Scope going through it.

I had to dremmel part of the tri-rail to get it to fit the Barska Scope so it would fit the front end of the Tac-Rail

Back in the day I used to get real heavy into tactical mods. I still love the look but choose to go with the "less is more" philosophy. The Tac Light is actually for a night game that I do once a year. Normally I run without it.

didnt really use it much like this... though when i got the x-valve in and ULT bouncing it was pretty damn fast.
