what pnuematics? did you not just lengthen the sear?Originally posted by Chris_automag_07this is amazing. the p90 PDW is by far my favorite rifle. i would love to make a mag be one... did you use an airsoft shell to make this?

No. I used a 3 way that is actuated by the airsoft trigger and that opperates a piston in front of the cut down sear to operate the mag. That's why there is a blue Oricle Tickler attatched to the remote inlet, it operates my trigger. I'll post pics of the insides when I get home from work.

This is awesome Cerrik. What was your concept and build process like? It looks like your trigger is moved forward. Where did you get the body from?
Edit: Nevermind, I read some more, and saw you used an airsoft body, and a pnuematic system to actuate the trigger, flippin' genius. I need to come up with ideas as to how to craft the body for the Park-52 Mag, any ideas? I'm thinking some custom cut aluminum (my uncle is a genius for crafting parts, he crafted a custom generator bracket to work around the headers on my '57 Bel Air), and maybe some wood parts for the parts that really need to have that sculpted look. I don't work every day in epoxy like Famousgamer does.
I need to get a grip on the front to shroud the Palmer's stabilizer, and then a foregrip that will cover most of the front 3.5oz tank, but I haven't seen any good candidates for off-the-shelf grips that will do the job.Last edited by Bagheera; 12-06-2007, 09:05 PM.

I was looking online for hollow grips, and found this site. Looks like a gold mine for anybody building a Mil Sim Mag with authentic military grade parts, but seeing as how I've never used this site, I can't vouch for them.

Too bad the Dragunov stock/trigger assembly is sold out, that would look absolutely sick.Originally posted by BagheeraI was looking online for hollow grips, and found this site. the air comes out of the drivers side right on the lower side of the grip. it is a nipple to attach a remote coil, the weight is alright, a little on the heavy side now that im runnin a Q loader. haha any other questions you have ill answer.Originally posted by Pudgey51I gotta agree with freebird (nice name by the way
i half expected u to be from the south tho ) that is the true definition on a milsim marker. so how long did it take u to make that? hows the weight? where u stashin the tank or u running remote? so many questions....senses overload
and skynyrd is the best band on the face of the planet, end of story.

No, no lag. With it being Pneumatic, it operates just like any other pneumag put together by AO'ers. Just not as fast of a trigger pull because it's and airsoft trigger. But I can get probably about 8+ bps out of her... I'll have to test it out.

I would start with a nice block 'o wood. Do your drawings, sketches and then do some wood work and make sure you have it the way you want it. Get your shroud exactly like you want it out of wood first. Then step it up to use Alum or plastics. It may take a while to carve it and it might be heavy as all hell but I've seen what your trying to do. Go slow and do it right, it'll turn out better than you imagined.
I'd like to make my next project a mag inside a shroud for the ALIENS Pulse rifle but I'll need more tools first.

Thanks for the advice, will do. I'm still on the hunt for hollow grips to shroud the Palmers stabilizer, 45 degree elbow, and braided air hose. I may even cut a hole in the grip in order to have the gauge nestled within the grip.

Bicycle grips! That's what I'll use to cover the Palmer stabilizer, and have it double as a grip. I can put the Palmer stabilizer inside of metal tubing, and the bicycle grip can go on the outside. I can continue the bent metal tubing (probably weld it to square on the bottom) to have a place for the co2 line to continue running down into, before heading up and into the mag valve. Yay!
