We have a big tourney for the SPPL (a woodsball tourney) and I want to use this for the event in 2 weeks so I will be putting it through its paces tomorrow.

I am starting at 15 ROF FIX at 0 and the Dwell at 15 set on PSP and Im gonna work from there.

Ive been making soup with my e-tac on 17 when I shoot for more than a short burst. I am going to keep the rof on 15 until I/someone develope some sort of ACE.

The Xmag with the ACE has been golden, even up to 23pbs.

Hey Big, I am going to be working with Jared from Destructive Customs on doing just that.

He already has eye covers made and we are going to do a custom setup for the TacOnes where is he going to mill a slot for the eye wires to recess into the body and he can make a reallyt flat eye cover for it.

Of Course I hope to have the breakbeam option on the ACE board we are going to make.

True Test Today

Good day all, I have gotten a chance to test my marker again during a full day of play.

Settings:
Mode: Hyper
ROF 18
Dwell 17 then as day progressed uped to 23
Fix 20
ACE On then had to turn off even with the Warp Feed.....not sure why on that one yet?
Pressure input: 985 PSI
Medium spring in LVL X
HALO on Warp
X-Ball bronze
Powerlyte Scepter Kit; .688 insert

Well, I shot two cases of paint today and had two out of barrel/end of barrel breaks. Although my level X never had to activate today the ACE would not allow me to shoot even with the ACE indicator light on for the trigger/ACE test LED Screen....and no, I turned the marker to hyper and set the settings before trying to fire again. I don't know if I should turn the ACE sensitivity up more or if the indicator senses a paintball shouldn't it fire???

When I turned up the dwell at the end of the day I noticed I had to have the selector switch in hybrid mode for the electronic and marker to fire. I think it is because I need to adjust a little more play in the trigger but for all out there......Any Ideas?????

I checked the noid and plunger and the plunger is free floating so I don't believe that any of my issues are mechanical.

Big Evil, When you set your ACE, how many turns to you give the pot after the paintball is detected on the ACE in the breach????

Outlaw, with the Xmod, I put the menu on Trg ACE and set the sensativity to where the ACE indicator lights when I have a ball about two hairs above the ACE sensor. Seems to work like a charm for me.

Also, try your verticle breech with the ACE. I had a lot of trouble with the warp breech and the ACE. According to Tunaman, if the gun didnt come with the warp breech from the factory, it probably needs to be 'tuned' to the gun. Mine was a real PINTA, even to the point where it was too tight to let some balls move out of it into the barrel. Now it works right, even with the ACE.

If anyone needs more info on Tuning the Warp Breech, LMK and I will make a seperate thread from the Xmod Beta one.

Well I am just back from the field and working over my ETacOne.

This TacOne was just obtained from A Tach One not long ago so i know it was put together and adjusted correctly.

I started with a Max ROF or 15, FIX at 0 and I ran it in Semi and in PSP with the Dwell at 15.

I shot a case of case with ti today and I swear I love this marker even more now.

It performed flawlessly. I didnt try any changes other then between Semi and PSP because that is what I most would use.

I did set it to 18 bps at the chrono one time and it worked okay but I probably only shot a half of a hopper through it like that but I think it would have been fine.

The only thing I got was a little shoot down and I am guess that was due to my preset 850psi tank.

I jus flash XMOD on my X and did notice a difference from Q4.0. The solinoid looks like it has a softer clicking sound in XMOD while Q4.0 was crisper but a heavier click. Running hybrid with Q4.0 made the noid hot after a 10 second burst. Whereas XMOD on Full Auto was much cooler. The biggest thing that I noticed was that I can do hybrid while in semi mode even though I have the selector switch on E. I was kind of able to do it on Q4.0 but only at a certain angle. With XMOD, it is more consistant. I do have to say that my sear broke at the clevis but I taped temporarily before flashing. I will be sending in my X to AGD to get replaced and tuned. Once tuned, I'll be posting up my results. One thing that I would like to comment is the Hyper mode. It resembles more of the AutoResponse trigger frame. Whereas Hyper on other trigger frames goes full auto after reaching a certain BPS and maintaining it until you slow down or stop. In all, this is a mod that I will have fun playing around with, especially Hyper in hybrid.

After reading this thread a couple of times along with the manual twice I was able to successfully save v3.2 and load the X Mod BETA 1.61 on two of my mags, one E and one X. I have never tried the ACE on the X before but it appears to be working excellent. Both mags seem to be functioning properly now for the air and then paint.

This looks like it will be FUN

Once I have completely tested the two I will report the settings but I don't see them being much different then what I have seen so far.

Think you need a faster hopper ?
Really you should be able to do 20 bps or so without eyes as long as you have
a fast enough hopper.
It shouldnt be a blender if the hopper can keep up.
There are mods out there for Halo's and Empire B's that change a small main gear
to a bigger one making them capable of 45 bps.
Not saying this is you but a lot of times people get a faster marker and try and still use
their same gravity fed (as opposed to spring/force fed like an Empire B) electronic hopper.
It doesnt matter if you can mod your Revy to spin fast enough to feed 30 bps it still
actually just feeds as fast as gravity can feed it.
Not so with a Halo or Empire B.

I have a Halo with the Vicotry board in it. Its plenty fast. Someone clocked the Xmag at 21bps..so Im not leaning towards a slow hopper as the source of my soup. LVL10 is just not substitute for a good eye system at high speeds.

Im supposed to have a Cheetah board coming as a freebee. If it ever shows up Im going to see if its any help with the etac.

My computer is too slow too try to read all these pages so I have a few questions.
Can I put an X-mod with working ace on my e-mag right now?
How much will it cost and who can do it?
