Global Warm.... Errr Cooling?

First i've heard of increasing global average temps on other planets, source on that info, so i might check it out?

As for women's studies, i think all classes concerning anything from philosophy to writing and everything in between tend to be iffy on their various subjects. I find contradicting claims everywhere here:P

All I remember were these articles from a while ago on Mars: HERE and HERE

Forgive the hyperbole, but I was still distraught over the loss of pirates... Although I think they tend to congregate off the horn of Africa.

And yes, the less empirical a class, the more subjective the grading by the prof. I have written papers that catered to the prof solely for the grade.

I read both of the articles. The first doesnt really counter the current ideas on earth's temp changes. Since it threorizes that dust storms are trapping heat, in a similar manner to our greenhouse gases, since mars itslef lacks much of any atmosphere, and even though it's moslty a co2 atmosphere the effects arent nearly comparable to that of earth or venus.

The second article seems to be focusing on a theory apparently isnt well recieved due to the scientist dismissing greenhouse gases as having no noticable affect, at least in comparison to the sun. There are a few counterpoints in the article so i wont mention em:)

But one counterpoint i have that wasnt mentioned is that the only other planet undergoing a heating phase seems to be mars, no other planets are mentioned, in particular venus and mercury, which should have the greatest temp. changes if it were in fact due to the sun's phases since they are so much closer, and venus having such a dense atmosphere.

Well I disagree. We have many times let a thread ride to the point of lock or removal.

You arent a Mod so maybe you miss alot. Tuna or Army never flamed only stated their opinions on the topic in a respectful manor. What a Mod cant post on the topic?

It says avoid, not [not allowed] We will try and let them go as long as they stay civil.

I know for a fact I have posted in such threads, they stayed civil and died. Its the post with no respect attitude that gets the thread locked or removed.
