Re: whoa
I appreciate your concern and respectful disagreement with my commments but I didn't mean any disrespect to members of the armed forces but one must call something what they are. Members of the armed forces are payed and trained (thus making them professional) and in defending our country often kill people(in fact that is what many are trained to do). That to me is a valid definition, it is also true that they are protectors of our Country and American interests(both political and economic) throughout the world. And another thing, I do have a lot of disrespect and contempt for the politicians that run our nation. Lie, cheat and steal is what they do. Not all of them but a good deal. Now I know that no one here is going to agree with me, so I am willing to drop this, furthermore I am not going to write in this post again unless someone intentionally flames me (my point is made, I stand on it, and it is open to the scrutiny of all).
PS: anyone who thinks war is fun or a good thing, I hope that you never have to fight in one and know what it really is

The constitution of the United States of America, gives authorization to soldiers to defend the country, by authority of the Executive branch to use all means necessary to defend the country. They are not professional killers. They are the men and women who stand as our protectors and defenders.
Being a soldier means that you are no longer a civilian, and you lose many rights by being in the military. You take orders and follow them. Period. By saying that they are professional killers is not only disrespectful of the armed forces, but also disrespectful of the people who give them the power to enforce the laws and beliefs of our country.
