      Also another comment...

"These were not devout Muslims. They were drinking in Bars. How can they claim to be so holy and right when their own religion condemns this very act? They are hiding behind religion to justify their terrorist acts. Missusing it. Even Muslims are appalled at this."
Thanks for the post and I hope others have a chance to read through it, and even more important, learn from it.

        Hey Phillip.

In regards to that second quote, maybe they were drinking mead?
Return to the free market. Get rid of all government regulations and let society make it's own decisions. Time and again the relaxing of government regulations has increased profits, innovation and the economy.

Ha! Perhaps!!! Still against Muslim teaching though.

Actualy its not a "direct" quote. Just the best I could remember how he said it or at least what I took away from what he said.

Made me stop and think a bit clearer in my anger that I needed not to fling it too far or broadly. But to concentrate it on the "cancer" that needs "treatment". I'll call it "surgical hate". Yes! thats what I have right now.

I'm not sure if someone has already said this, but here goes. I'd just like to say that at a time like this, patriotism is normal and fine, but we can't let that turn into racism. I was watching the news today and they had a muslim woman that said she was harrassed just because she looked like a muslim (with the scarf over her head and how she dressed). I have heard other stories like this, and it just seems that the nation is doing such a good job dealing with this crisis that I would hate to see anymore racism come out of this.

I don't know if anyone believes in predicting the future and what not but Nostradamis did predict that something like this would happen. He said "Two iron mountains will fall" He also predicted that after they fell WW3 would insue, followed by the coming of the antichrist. Pretty freaky if ya ask me. If you remember he also predicted the OJ Simpson predicament by saying "A great gladiator will escape on the back of a white bronco" and of course, OJ is the great gladiator he speaks of, and the white bronco? It's the white Ford Bronco that OJ ran from the cops in. Just thought all this was interesting

And Sheperds we shall be / For thee, my Lord, for thee / Power hath descended forth from Thy hand / Our feet may swiftly carry out Thy commands. / So we shall flow a river forth to Thee / And teeming with souls shall it ever be. / In Nomeni Patri Et Fili Spiritus Sa

                I'll add to this...

It was shown on one of the networks not long ago, and I don't remember the exact details, so I do apologize, but it goes something like this -

A woman in fear to walk around in the streets, because everyone looks at her as if she's the enemy. Her son at school was thrown on to the floor, because he was of arabic decent by other children... Wonder where the other kids learned to discriminate? The kid couldn't have been older than 8... 9? She discovered her side view mirror was ripped off the side of her car.

Before the horrific crime commited days ago, as the reporter put it, she was living the American Dream in the suburbs of Chicago. Know what else? She's 3rd generation American, born in Virginia. She has a picture of her family members, shaking hands with one of our former presidents; President Truman. Her family has served in the military, and a picture showed her great-grandfather who was in uniform for WWI.

There are probably many Americans of Anglo-European decent, that have been here even less than her family. The only reason she was targetted? Her dark physical features, which just happened to look of Arabian decent.

I have more than faith, that the majority of our countryman are not involved in these acts of hate and prejudice. Still... Even one of these acts, are one too many. I suppose I keep making a point of this, since to me... more important than having our vegeance and striking back at those who violated us; is to remember who we are and what we stand for. Otherwise we all lose in the end and the leave the terrorists satisfied, having borne terror into the minds of our people - To act in shame.

if EVERY person involved in this crime is muslim is it racists to single them out at airports and in the investigation? if 40 people with brown curly hair had hijacked airplanes it wouldnt be racist to single them out, at least in the short term.

harrasing and vandalism on the streets is still wrong though.

Thanks. Is it just the download or the full program, or are they the same. Thanks again.

I see what your saying Shartley but think of it this way. I'd say about 80% of this board is under the age of 18. You know how much $609 is to one of us? That a hell of alot of money to spend on a CD. If we could get it free dont you think we would although it IS illegal? I mean come on, dont you think all of us have downloaded software before or went to a website to get the hack of a serial number?

Im 16, anything over 100 dollars is alot for me to spend on anything. Im currently trying to save for my car and to drop $609 on a program is crazy. Yes I know its a standard in the graphics industry but hey, some rules are made to be broken.

I don't come from a rich family so I know my parents wouldnt buy the program(moms a teacher, teachers dont get enough, dads a plumber). I wouldn't say my family is poor but we are well off. My moms lease on her car is running up and my dads pickup truck has way to many miles and is beat to crap from being a work truck. Its time for 2 new veichles + part of our house needs to be renovated(20 years is pretty old). We cant justify spending money "stupidly." Im not saying that the program is stupid but put the purchase of it into perspective and look at it. It just doesnt make sense for us.

Watch the laws you break and try to avoid it at all costs.

                            I hope you understand,

                            Peanut

I paintball marker is a item you can hold in your hand. There is no possible way to "pirate" a paintball marker. A CD is totally different. Software, paintball marker, software, paintball marker. I think id rather have the marker since its an item i can go have fun with everything weekend. You have to look at what your getting for your buck. A high end paintball marker made of s/s and aluminum that you can go have fun with EVERY weekend or a CD. I do realize that you need the software for your everyday business but that was your choice to go into that field. Us,as young ones, realize that programs like that are nice to have for the occasional "school project"(yes we are still in school ) or contest run by the greatest paintball company in the world. But it is not something we can justify spending money on for the 10 times a year you may actually use the program. I know you are probably gonna say just use the demos, but sometimes they just dont cut it.
                                4) You get what you PAY for. PhotoShop is the STANDARD, and all other software packages are only compared TO PhotoShop. There is a reason for this.
Sometimes you get the same thing for what you don't pay for. I can see how you are against pirating etc. but we are not in the business to use it each and every day of our lives. The occasional use is for something not related to selling it. If I was in your shoes, I would never be caught dead using pirated software but if you were in our shoes would you buy the program? You cant download a paintball marker to use for that weekend can you? I dont want to clutter up this thread anymore than I already have so if you wanna email me something Im missing or whatever please do so,,,

On the other hand, I am sorry for all those who lost their lives in this tragedy and especially to that business man who they intereviewed on TV who lost 700+ of his employees. His business was on the 95-105 floors of the first building. He brought his daughter to her first day of preschool and that is how he made it.
