The harsh reality of the situation set in last night and at the prayer service we held at my school

All day yesterday it was just sureal. I couldn't fully grasp the severity of the situation. Well, i did but it seemed like i was paying more attention to the buildings than the people. HOW HORRIBLE OF ME! Last night though it all sank in, Dad trying to explain to little johnny that his mom went on vacation and is coming back. Or the children who were completely orphaned. The widows, and husbands who lost their wives.

I sat down with my dad and we talked about it for hours (3). I wound up crying myself to sleep thinking about those kids, those wives, those dads, those husbands, and those moms who just aren't coming back.


John Ashcroft just spoke moments ago and said that their were three to six hijackers per plane and that they took them over with boox cutters nives and bomb threats. (It sounds like they are really about to 100% identify who did it, since they already have their sources leaking information.)

That is an irresponsible statement. Sorry to be so harsh but you know nothing about the HIV virus and blood screening to have made that kind of remark. Not true.

Heroism

On flight 93(The one which crashed before reaching a target) Several heroic passengers, knowing that the airplane was to be used by the hi-jackers as essentially a flying bomb, possibly killing thousands more, actually did overthrow the terrorists onboard. They plane crashed during the struggle, but due to their heroism, they saved many lives because it had crashed into rural farmland (This information was gathered by NBS and CNN by a cell phone call a passneger placed minutes before the crash)

Dubstar you have to realize that all blood that is donated is screened for multiple diseases before it is even considered for use. More than likely the blood that is donated will be used to fill surplus in the locations that have already supplied blood to the NYC area. So the chance that there would be any kind of outbreak of any type of disease is very slim.

Airforce 1 got some serious threats, and the plane that hit the pentagon was supposed to hit the white house. they do not know why they hit the pentagon.

I just heard about the White House being a target for all this.. I must say that I thank the lord for them hitting the pentagon and not the white house.
The White House is THE symbol of America, democracy, and the constitution of the United States. I think it would have made me weep to see the White House in ruins.

If it did happen, I would rather have the press have respect for the country and not broadcast pictures of the White House in ruins all over every channel on the TV and radio. While seeing terrorists destroy the World Trade Center towers is sickening, it does make the nation come together.. If such were the case for the White House, that would be downright demoralizing.

I heard that the plane that crash in Pennslyvania, was headed for the White House. I guess the pilot and passengers, were struggling onboard to prevent this from happening. I hope this situation can be resolved very quickly.

Actually seeker, I believe it was headed for camp david. It missed it's mark by some 14 miles.

Yes, supposedly the plane that crashed into the pentagon was actually heading for the white house. Either that or the one that crashed in Pitts. was headed for the White house. Either way, the White house was a definite target according to attorney general ashcroft. Ok, about the knives thing. We were also talking about this in World Cultures class today. Why, when there are about 60 people on a plane, doesnt someone take action against 3 guys with knives? I mean, what the heck, if youre gonna die anyways or theres a chance of dying why not go down fighting. I mean, like walk up to one of the terrorists and be like "Hey there's Ala" and kick him in the nuts as he looks around for Ala. Also, I think it is very important that everyone understands that arab americans are on the same side of this as us. Don't go threatening Arab americans and harassing them and what not. Remember what happened after Pearl Harbor with the Japanese Americans. Let's not let it happen again.

Wow...I just watched a segment on how all the people of NY are coming together. They have so much people volunteering to dontate blood they are turning many away. Food normally made to be served in the finest of NY restuarants made to feed and nuture the workers and doctors/nurses. One man who is a an iron/steel? worker came down and is assisting the recovery teams cut away at the rubble... Doing every little thing they can to help out.

I don't know if I beleive this one;

NBC-New York reported during their evening report that there were 3 men arab in appearence on a plane at Kennedy airport headed for L.A. scheduled to depart at 9 a.m. These 3 men were involved in a camotion on the plane the pilot of the plane told them they had to leave the plane. They refused. Port Authority police were called and upon arrival the 3 men were gone.

Now here is my question, if these men were starting enough trouble that you were kicking them off the plane, and called airport security to remove them, why would you not watch them? I don't get it?

I honestly believe we should blow them off the face of the planet. darn them! The freaking audacity of these idiots. I usually try not to get involved in political things and other current events but seeing those palestinians celebrating the collapse of the WTC and the corresponding deaths just pissed me the heck off. It's not even a question of us becoming terrorists too by blowing them up, it's merely retaliation. We have to teach them a lesson. They've been a thorn in the US' side for too long and this one just went too far.

Don
