Well i see what Sam is saying but im going with Dansim i dont think a 12 year old kid would even think about the minority of the population but would indeed mean race.

And while it may be a fact that racial minorities do indeed commit more crimes per person then White people do you think that could have anything to do with most of them living in the inner city and being poor? Im sure that upper middle class latino and Black families have about the same crime per person as the upper middle class whites. Im also sure that poor white people in the inner cities have the about the same crime rate as the poor inner city minorities. So you could say that that kind of back ground has a larger tendency to commit crimes then the other instead of making it about race.

Im not saying that they shouldnt be punished for their actions or that it is not their fault. Im not saying that they should not be responsible for their own actions. All im saying is that the back ground of a person has more of an effect then their race. Do you not think that if the roles were reversed and whites were the minority with that sort of background that we would have the largest crime rate??
