So when exactly did the Ohio State coach trade his soul to the devil?

They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.

I would like to point towards the SI college edition that came out last week that said the UA vs. Auburn football game is the number one rivally in ALL of college sports. The OSU vs. Michigan didn't even make the top ten. (but made like 3rd or 4th in football)

Don't both teams have to be of the same caliber to have a rilvalry? I didn't even know Ohio State existed until last year.

ESPN must not have read SI. I have been to the OSU vs. UM game and it pales in comparison to the UA vs AU game.

Come down and witness the greatest rival in all of college sports this Saturday on the planes and watch Auburn fall to Alabama. I might not be here on Sunday or so for I might be in jail. For I WILL toilet paper Tombers Corner in red and white. If that means beating up people to do so, I will do it. Why, because it is the Alabama vs. Auburn game, the BIGGEST rivalry in ALL of college sports.

(you must not have watched the Alabama Auburn game last year when game day said it was the biggest rivalry in all of college sports)

Funny is that we hate Tennessee worse.

The reason for the UM/OSU rivalry dropping in status is becuase of Ohio State's 1990s decade long problem of not being able to win the game. But make no mistake, the biggest game of the College football season, and possibly the last three years, will be played at noon in Ann Arbor. An outright Big Ten title, a national title berth (on the table for both teams), teams ranked in the top five in the polls, and the rivalry is in its 100th year. No bigger game has been played in a very long time.

Oh, and OSU is number 2 in the BCS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And the only real threat to a national title game is Oklahoma losing or Michigan winning.

So you are saying you need some national ranking system to make the game a good game.

Both teams could be 0-12, and the UA vs. AU game will still be the number one rivaly.

I didn't say anything about it being a big rivalry, I'm saying it will be the biggest game in three years. But to say the OSU/Michigan doesn't rank up there with Florida/Georgia, ND/USC, UA/Auburn, Harvard/Yale, Stanford/Cal, is just asinine.

Yes, again go to both games like I have, then come back. I was a huge OSU fan when I went to the game, comes from having an uncle play there, a cousin playing there now, and a father that attended the school. But I have seen the errors of my way and saw the true rivalry.
