Completely from scratch. Acctually everything I've posted so far has been completely from scratch I think.

Edit: Just went and looked at everything I've submited, it all is form scratch. The one with the plane things i used a couple different programs but it was all created on my computer by me.

Use "Save for Web" from the file menu (or "alt"+"Shift"+"Ctrl"+"S"). That way, you can optimize several different aspects of the final file like the color pallette.

On the right side of the dialogue box, you'll see an arrow in a circle (see pic). Click that, then "optimize to file size". This allows you to set parameters for your color pallette, for example: automatically cutting out colors you didn't use, or combining very similar colors to reduce your overall file size. (for sigs, the mods want everyone to use 20k or smaller images)

I go to image ready, choose the encoding that looks/works the best for the specific picture, and "save optimized". Then I just upload it to an ftp.

AssasiN - how do you get that effect? It looks like custom brushes to me, but what settings do you use to get that good of a transparency on them?

Incase you can't read that it say. Fade makes the shape spin. The value adjusts how much it spins. The higher the value the slower it spins.
