sorry but one more question, how do i duplicate a layer?

right-click on the layer in the layer toolbox, then "duplicate layer"

depending on where you right click in the layer pallette, it will give you different options/menus. Its cool.
At least you're learning how to do it yourself... Everyone else just asks me to make it for them

Go to a site like dafont.com, and download the zip file. Extract the contents into a temp folder then copy & paste the font files into your fonts directory (usually c:\windows\fonts)
It will automatically install the fonts, then you can use them from any program

ok this makes no sence i can do the harder ones, but i cant do the "easy one", im tryin to do the one where u plasticize the words, but yet i cant get it to work, i am stuck on the strokin part, im not sure if im selecting the word correctly before i make a new layer or suttin, bus when i go to stroke it wont let me... weird

Ok, the light paths kind of clash together. here's an idea. The black lines show the light path based on the shadows. This should give ya an idea.

But in all fairness, most people would not notice the clash that much if they were not looking for it.

ok, stroke w/ 3 pixels and a different color, but similair.

Then click on the text layer. Then, Layer>>Rasterize>>Type
There you go!
