click the layer you want to move, hold the button down, then move it between the layers you want it to be between. Kinda like th way you organize the windows start menu.

Looks like cardboard people in a picture. Except they have no shadows and their lighting is different from everything else. Also the guy behind the support in the middle os goofy because his legs are behind the pillar and his gun is infront.

Hehe, I actually forgot how I made that background. I'll get back to you on how I did it after I figure it out . I have a ton of backgrounds that I have made, I save every good one just incase I'll need it for some thing (like my sig).

Here is the background I used (right above the middle, little to the left). Notice how some edges aren't very smooth, thats the side effect of some of the distortions/transformations I made to it. I left it like that on pupose (I may need it like that for something). But before I got my final version of my sig, I blured the edges to make a nice transition. I also added a pattern overlay (of scanlines, which I made earlier).

Sorry, the pic is kindof big (memory wise 200+K)

Ok, the light paths kind of clash together. here's an idea. The black lines show the light path based on the shadows. This should give ya an idea.

But in all fairness, most people would not notice the clash that much if they were not looking for it.
I see what you're saying, but thats not a shadow, thats a reflection... The light path is [supposed] to be more of an ambient source from above (light the sun/sky).
The reflection is where its supposed to be: deirectly between the reflected object and the center of the curved reflecting surface. If you look at one of M.C. Escher's drawings, it will help to illustrate better:

Think of the bird as the smaller orb in my pic. No matter which way the light is coming from, the bird's reflection will appear in the same spot on the orb.

I desaturated the larger orb and removed the icons so you can see the shadow better (the red shade on the grey orb):

Bluestrike_2 he is right. I was saying the same thing you were for awhile but I see what he is talking about. Shadows don't affect reflections.

Now that I look at it, the shadow does need to be a little more intense...

I made a white rectangle, gave it an inner stroke of 1 pixel, and set its opacity to about 40%. Now that I think of it, I should have just selected the rectangle (ctrl+click on layer), made a new layer and and added a 'stroke' to the selection. Then the 1 pixel black border would have been blacker... oh well..

Edit: I just did that, and now my new sig is uploaded.

Edit2: You could also just use the maraquee tool to select a rectangular area on the backround, adjust the levels (ctrl + l) or the hue (ctrl + u), and add an inner stroke of 1 pixel if you want. There are many ways to get an effect like that (or close to it).
