      Look at this link!

The gay lobby is pushing their agenda so hard that backlash is starting to occur.

You have a bunch of rednecks in Tennessee that want to make being Gay a crime against nature. Push and someone always pushes back! Maybe they will reconsider their tactics before too much more backlash sets their cause back 50 years! Don't piss off the voters, because enough of them can change the law to take away any court victory the gay lobby may win.

Here is a great article about black pastors and civil rights leaders distancing themselves and stating that Homosexuals have no right to use them as a model!

Marriage not a civil right says black pastors group.

            w00t for Constitutional Amendments!

Here is a scenario. Take a prominent facet of our society. It's a tradition for hundreds of years. For the most part, totally acceptable. Yet we decide to end it with a Constitutional Ammendment. Why? Simple: we decided it was wrong. Someone else may not think that, but we did, so we changed it. Some people in our Society were not happy, but hey, that's thier perogative. So we get rid of it, there's some fighting, and everybody simmers down eventually.

I am talking about Slavery. ***Before I get uberflamed, I know that this is an very over-simplified example, but it is 0100 here, and this is the best I could come up with.***

Sometimes, we have to lay down basic ground rules for certain facets of our society. Somepeople want them, others do not. In our society, the majority decides (unless it is in a presidential election, but that is another thread entirely ). This is one of the reasons why Ammendments are so few and far between. It is no small matter to get 2/3 of the Congress and 3/4 of the state legislatures to ratify them.

Freedom of Speech. Right to Keep and Bear Arms. Universal Sufferage. Presidential Term Limit of Two. Marriage is a Union Between a Man and a Woman. These are just rules for our Society. Some agree with them, some don't. If the majority does, the minority just has to live with that.

Commence the flameage. I'm going to bed.

            :o <------Yawn
