I don't go through life expecting handouts from the government the way the left seems to do.

I'd be perfectly happy with as LITTLE interference from the government as possible.

of course, the liberals in this country can't seem to wipe their own bottoms without some form of government program, so I don't expect much understanding of this.

i proved that the benajmins are what this is partially about (not to mention equality, first amendment rights, etc). but you are trying to degrade the issue by saying it's just about money. money is a big deal in this country, so money will play a big role in every major issue.

What are you talking about? Mormons do believe in monogamy. Poligamy was along time ago and only lasted one generation, befor, and after monogamy was and is one of the most fundamental mormon doctorines. I won't get into alot of detail about it because it isn't the topic of the forum, but I felt the need to correct that statement.
