who cares they banned a movie which is contoversial. Bible thumpers adore this movie and jewish people take offense to it. i do have jewish friends who are very offended by it, and if they made a movie that portrays there religion and how they view jesus you would have every christ fearing man after them. if i owned a movie theatre i wouldnt play passion of the chris either. now exuse me while i jump into my flame suit.

Why do Jews take offense to it? Its a movie, does Germany go crazy every time there is a mention of nazi's in a movie? Hey its history, it happend, no one is getting anywhere by pretending it didn't happen.

You only need a flame suit if you've said something that you know is untrue enough to warrant flames. Why is it you feel that it's ok to call Christians names, like "Bible Thumpers." Do you show that much disrespect for people of other faiths as well?

You have Jewish friends that are very offended by it. That's ok. I've got Jewish friends as well that happen to think it's a GREAT movie. Rabbi Kirt Schneider, Rabbi Eric Lakatos, and others.

As one of the aforementioned "Bible Thumpers", you couldn't be more wrong in your stereotype and generalization of me, and how I'd react to a movie made by Jews about their beliefs, and their view of Yeshua (Jesus.) I for one happen to be EXTREMELY interested in Jewish beliefs, feasts, and traditions, and what they mean to me, even as a Christian. I don't DARE "go after" Jews just because many of them don't believe in Yeshua. The Jewish people are the people that YHWH provided the Messiah through. Whether or not they believe He's the One will not affect my view of them. They are blessed, and YHWH WILL redeem His People. Therefore, I will bless them, and not curse them. YHWH said to Abraham "I will bless those who bless you, and curse those who curse you."

Might want to talk to a Christian before you accuse them of doing something that they would never have any intention of doing.

i couldnt agree with u more crime dog, and machina im offended by the term "bible thumpers" im christian, and i enjoyed the movie and i dont attack jews, i also know jewish men and women who thought that the movie was interesting. u speak of christians like an uneducated person would, like saying "God fearing men" we dont fear God, we love him. grow up and stop trying to act intelligent.

I have a ton of Jewish friend s who liked it so I guess not ALL Jewish people took offense to it. I have yet to see it, but that is more of a time issue.

What would you expect from France? Its a country that has gone out of its way to take religon out of life. Christians can't wear large crucifixes, Jews can't wear that hat thingy on their head (no disrespect intended: I just forgot what it was called) and Muslim and Hindu women aren't allowed to wear scarves (although thats more of cultural thing).

My point is that this doesn't suprise me. Although, its kind of for a Frenchman to stand up for something (other than surrendering that is )
