When you come in as liberators of a nation, and then beat, torture, and humiliate the people who oppose you. You are sending the wrong message, and I don't even care if they deserved it. The US is and should be held to a higher standard then the Iraqi insurgents. We are the ones who go into countries, to bring democracy, civil rights and equality. But then turn around a violate the Geneva Convention.
