I am a racist because I cannot understand a single drive through person at any fast food place? I am racist because I am talking about a person that crossed illegally into the US? Or am I racist for making fun of a canadian accent?

If I said something like I cannot stand these mexican wetbacks taking our jobs just because they are brown and speak a langugage that I cannot understand I would agree. I never said I hated anyone and was only stating the 100% truth. I can go off on the whole "I know 100 mexicans and I am friends with them" speech but I am not. I know plenty of them, have played paintball with them, and have broke bread at the same table with them, but I guess secretly I hated them right? I am glad you do not have to deal with it where ever you are lcoated and can ignore the truth, but here in NC (2nd biggest population of illegally spanish immigrant in the US) it is getting crazy. Get real, wake up, pull the politically correct pole out of yoru butt, and understand that I am not the one that labeled them illegal immigrants.

No, you said something politically incorrect, rather than trying to find and point out an error in your logic I am simply going to run back to the PC camp and shout insults at you... and anyone who can possibly see a logic to your stance. For the record: I have nothing against LEGAL immigrants. Those that came here legally, come to think of it, my ancestors did. What we are discussing are ILLEGAL immigrants, you know the ones with the word ILLEGAL right in there title.

KAY! I've written up "the reasons why you are a moron".

1. Yes, you are a moron. You have no idea where I live/lived. You have no idea where I go to college. You know what assumptions do, right?

2. I'm from Socal. So I'd say yeah, I know a little about illegal Mexican immigration. I'm right over the border, captain. Where I live and go to school now is a predominately Puerto Rican neighborhood. It's also, as you can see from my location, very poor.

I work along-side both legal and illigle immigrents every day. They work 8:00-6:00, I work 7:30-6:30 so I'm allowed to complain. :)

As far as them stealing jobs from native born Americans that simply isn't true. Most people just don't want to do the kind of work they do or work the hours they do. And if you do want to usually an employer would rather have someone who is legal. A legal person can be put on the books if necessary,.a legal person won't vanish (illigles have a tendancy to do so, a legal citizen can get a drivers license. The people the illigle immigrants are taking away from the most is the legal immigrants.

I never once said they took our jobs, they can have all the crappy jobs they want. I was lucky enough to go to college and get an education, and even luckier to find a job in my field. Just because they cross the boarder pretty much unopposed does not mean it is right or legal. I have worked with, and forgotten the names of, more illegal immigrants than you have ever met. Most are hard working individuals that try to lead a better life, but the fact remains that they are untraceable, non tax paying, using every bit of government aid that they can. Let your moms social security number be stolen and used and then she has to pay thousands of dollars in fees to get her credit fixed then you tell me about fair. Let me know where 24% of my money goes in taxes where as illegal immigrants pay less than %5 sometimes and claim 8 dependants. I see that your superior age is enough to let me know you are still some pl kiddy who has yet to experiance one drop of real life. We're getting VERY off topic ---but I have to say this: I just want to establish a truth from BS --- Not all illegal imigrants do jobs that we AMERICANS don't . First off -- there's only so many of those crappy jobs to go around. On the East coast -- not many farms to work, but a ton of landscaping jobs that AMERICANS would work. And from personal experience --- skilled labor IS taking a hit.. I have seen a huge increase in illegal labor on construction sites doing carpentry, painting, laborwork, lawn sprinkler work, & roofing to mention a few.

These ARE jobs that are bid for and won by contractors that can lower their operational costs by hiring these people. In turn they out bid established contractors who employ Americans with real skills, and trades -- but also have insurance, healthcare, retirement packages ect...

If you think that migrant workers just pick tomatoes --- you're out of sink with reality. It is a problem that will impact Americans -- and its happening already. I'm an HVAC mechanic who works many new and renovation types of jobs. They are making an impact.
