    exhibit C:

it doesnt look like much, but considering the circumstances... she bent the hood, punctured the bumper real good and destroyed the light housing thingy.

parked at store I work at, I was inside.

there was at least 20 feet, maybe more between then end of her parking spot and the beginning of mine, my car was well within the lines of the spot.

the hole in the bumper was 6-10 inches long, meaning she either hit my car REALLY fast and then stopped, or she very slowly punctured a nice loong hole in the car.

she was apparantly going to hit and run, but some coworkers on break got her license plate.

Seriously, there was more than enough room to see my car. She probably shouldnt have been driving an SUV.

Hahaha...this is why I always stand in between my car and my girlfriend backing up near it...I'd sacrifice my body rather than letting her destroy my beautiful new Saab. There actually is a logical, medically sound answer to why women are bad drivers. It's been proven that women don't have quite as good of depth perception as men. It'd be like you trying to drive with your dominant eye closed.

According to the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA), women are better drivers than men.

IMHO, there are bad drivers in both sexes.

I agree that there are both men and women that should never be allowed to go within a few hundred yards of a motor vehicle. However, without actually clicking the link you provided, i'm sure that data is based somehow on the number of accidents each sex is involved in...what it probably fails to point out is that all accidents involving men are probably caused by women who miraculously escape the situation unharmed. Oh, and the depth perception thing was told to me by my one of my Psychology Professors. I've also heard it other places as well, but have no physical evidence to provide to you.

There are less accidents with women thanks to men. This is because... no sane man would let his woman drive... therefore, there are less women drivers on the road... and thus their statistics are lower. Also... women will distract a man as he drives... as they like to "complain" a lot... and they think it's an appropriate time to do so while he's operating a machine. And by doing so, women inflate men's accident statistics.

If women were meant to drive... they would have invented the car. But they didn't. I could explain why it takes a man to do such things... but I'll save that for another time.

Miscue does make a good point. A husband or boyfriend will usually drive rather than a wife or girlfriend, so there are definitely less women drivers on the roads. I'd also like to contend that defensive driving is only good to a certain point...overly defensive driving to the point of going well under the speed limit, braking too soon, etc. actually increase a person's risk of being involved in an accident. I don't know how many times I've almost hit someone because they were driving waaaay too slow or braked when there was no reason to.

                              P.S.

I don't think I've ever been cut off by a male driver...and I've been cut off A LOT.

There have been a lot of times where I have been in a situation where an accident COULD have occurred that was brought on by the following:

                                A) A female driver doing something stupid

                                B) A female in the car with me *****ing about something as I'm attempting to navigate traffic.

Actually, A did cause a small accident for me once. I was leaving college, on a rainy day, and there were a lot of cars leaving campus, so the cars were somewhat close together. The girl in front of me was on her cell phone, and not really paying attention to the road. She stopped all of a sudden for no reason, which forced me to slam on my brakes. The guy behind me wasn't so fast, and hit me, which was enough to push me into the girl who stopped in the first place. Turned out there wasn't any damage to any of the cars anyway (I was driving a saturn at the time, and they are pretty much bumper cars).

And as for B, I can't even count the number of times I've had a girl in the car and she yells LOOK OUT! because she doesn't think I see a situation (even though I did), and then you get that slight moment of panic before you realize she is just being a pain in the ***. That slight moment of panic probably causes tons of accidents.

Also, male accident statistics are boosted by young male drivers, who get into accidents because they push the limits of their drivings skills and their vehicle. If you took a sample of males from age 25 to 65, and kept a record of whether situation A or B was involved, you'd have some interesting numbers.

I tend to just close my eyes and pray when my GF is driving at times.
