Why Women Can't Drive

in the almost two years my girlfriend and i have dated, she has driven with me in the car a total of three times. i drive every other time.

B) I was driving home through the rain with my best freind and gf. There is a section where a smaller highway merges with our highway. My girlfriend suddenly screams at the top of her lungs, scaring the living **** outta me while making us all deaf. I just saw where she was looking and noticed a car. I made a quick jerk to left at the wheel and that was enough to lose control of the Focus in the rain. We fishtailed for about 100 yards as I tried to not loose it. then we executed 2 perfect 360's before I regained control and we just continued on our way. I must say that my corrective driving was champion. That was the coolest thing ever.

From what I can discern between your preening and boasting, what happened was that someone in the car saw something you didn't see, and you did one of the dumbest things you could do (jerk the wheel in the rain), which cumulated in something that could have ended extremely badly if it weren't for dumb luck. Woooooooohoo. You win at life.

agreed, but atleast boys grow into responsible good drivers because we learn from our mistakes. But for those without a Y chromosome, they never improve past a teenage driving level.

I'll add this, there were far more accidents leaving highschool in the afternoon involving girls then guys. That is not to say guys weren't wreakless, in fact they were probably more so then the girls....they could just get out of bad situations better and made far less stupid little mistakes

no. it was simply a car in the lane next to me slowing down to merge behind me. She screamed (like the bloodcurdling horror movie type scream) right in the middle of a song I was enjoying. I saw a car coming from the merge lane that would have hit me had it actually been trying to merge into me as I saw.

When she she screamed it scared the living piss outta me and my friend, my reaction was like 95% reflex because I thought a plane was coming to hit us or something. I think women weren't so emotional and scream like that all the time, the fiasco woulda been avoided.

My car insurance is $200 per half BTW
I always wear my seatbelt, do the walkaround car check before I get in, and I make my passengers wear thier seatbelts. I would consider myself a safe driver. My last ticket was 3 years ago for doing 85mph in a 65mph zone. I didn't realize I was going so fast because....drumroll....I was in a heated argument with my mother and got all pissed off.

Girls do stupid crap all the time like rear ending people, fender benders, backing into stuff, hitting stationary objects at controllably low speeds....
When a testosterone filled adolescent scrwes up, it costs the insurance companies more almost everytime. This is why boys insurance costs more at young ages.

guys are wreckless, girls are inept, there is a distinct difference.

EDIT: i was at a stop light 2 months ago and got hit in the rear by a female. She didn't notice me and couldn't stop in time? WTF kind of excuse is that!! If she said, "yeah, I'm a girl, sorry" I would've understood and asked her if she wanted to go out for drink sometime...she was cute. At least she didn't cry, I hat ethat BS when girls cry for nothing

i will say that not only women are bad drivers. i know some guys that shouldnt be able to sit in a drivers seat. (one is sitting right new to me in studyhall right now) but women arent the greatest. usualy dealing with cell phones or just not knowing what to do. i have never been so afraid in my life as when my gf was driving and pulled out infront of a big f-350 im prety sure i screamed like a little girl. we have been dating for about 4 months now and shes driven once

teen guys do mess around when driving more. here in south dakota its easy. there is nothing to do but wait for it to rain and take a 4x4 truck down a low mainanence road. or seein how many cookies you rwd car can do in a parking lot before you get dizzy. i will admit i push the limit quite a bit. but ive been driving something, being a gocart, snowmobile, or golfcart, since i was 10. now being 17 i know how i can drive and how i can hurt myself

I wouldn't say all girls are bad drivers. The ones who are bad drivers are the ditzy, "girly-girls" who are more interested in painting their nails and having a phone conversation while they're driving.

And I hate when people get mad at scientific research results. Yes, female humans have less depth perception.

And how about the other side? It has also been proven that women have a higher aptitude for math. So don't get all radical feminist on us because you are afraid of science. When people do studies and back their findings with data I tend to listen to them. Not because I'm sexist.

I'm honestly scared when my GF is driving. She constantly ignores dangers, misses all kinds of crap, and can't judge speed or distance if her life depended on it. And most accidents that my friends have gotten into have involved a female driver who thinks she's the only one on the road. It's some mindset they have...

Well I'm afraid that both wrecks that I've been in during my life will not help either side. One was a girl driving a minivan that decided to pull out right into the side of my lifted 93 F-150. I was driving down a through street with no stop signs and had the right of way. She had a stop sign she was supposed to stop at. She said the reason she pulled out was because she didn't see my pickup. COME ON! IT's a full size WHITE pickup... how the heck can you not see it?

The other time I was once again driving down a through street with no stop signs on it and this guy who said he didn't see a stop sign pulled out and hit my driver's side. Both were equally stupid if you ask me.
