    Lo

If we go with this design, you'll have to make sure there is no patent, and that there is a way for AGD to stock enough feednecks.

If you do go with this, change my request on the preorder from two to five. Minimum.

I am not sure what that would look like, could someone make a rough sketch?

There is a thread on this in a different section.

Here's a few pics from the thread.

I would also work on getting a second body if this ended up being the final design.

Pre CNC XMags are cool and all, but I vote for something new, and not just a reincarnation.

I would assume, knowing AGD history, that the body design wouldn't be patented, only possibly the idea of warp/vert breeches. PTP would have to check to make sure that either AGD could supply sufficient breech units, or that PTP could at least machine the vertical ones (since my guess is that these would be quite a bit more popular).

I don't know how many I'd order.. but it'd be quite a few... quite a few indeed.

I do know one individual that would probably not be happy about borrowing from his design. He spent a great deal of time on it, and has expressed his displeasure on it being copied at least once that I remember...

I never bought an Xmag because I dont like the feednecks.
I have no use for the warp breeches.
And the vert breech isnt clamping, so I have no use for it either.
And to me they are just ugly on top of all that.
The way the body ends way back from the battery sort of like the Micro-E.
But thats just my two cents.

I thought that the feednecks on xmags were Angel threaded. Is that not the case? Excuse the ignorance, I just haven't been lucky enough to play around with one.

dont try to twist the feedneck, thats impossible, instead you must understand that it isnt the feedneck that is twisting, it is you

At any rate, I'd like Tom's or Rob's opinion on the idea of copying the pre-CnC style, and perhaps PTP's opinion on breech feednecks, that way we could get a better idea. I'd like to see it happen, but I don't want to continue talking about it as a viable option unless it is approved on all fronts
