It might work well with the "boxy" 1st and 2nd gen designs of the Micromag.

I couldn't get that out of what you were typing. It makes perfect sense in your own head, but gets lost in translation, I hate that.

Now, that is an interesting idea.

I do that a lot. Diarrhea of the brain, constipation of the fingers/mouth.

          nice look doc.

as far as the detent goes why not take the Tippman route and have it inside the body? it could be like the ball type used by most now. threaded up through the bottom of the body. then a modular breach could be installed...right

I am enjoying the development of Engus and Dend's designs... nice work.

Another thing to possibly consider... which may keep the original costs down, creating a sleak body, light enough to be used on its own, but with enough material that 3rd party shops could offer some limited edition milling.. just a thought

like a micro-slug, so to speak.

A microslug would be easily modded into a milsim chassis

which might be a useful thing for GunFX...

I tried something different for over the top of the valve. It kinda screwed with some other features though. when I get time Ill start on making a mock-up frame, unless someone has an intelli in .des format they can email me.

                            Just a question...

Why is everyone set on the SQUAREness of the micromag body??? I know it's a matter of taste, but also of functionality.... a ROUNDed profile gives you less material surrounding the workin parts of the mag that you must have... Yes you need a little extra meat where the screws go but that's easy to fix...

I'm more interested in seein some ULE style bodies that retain the bolt on ASA of the Micro... Angel Feed and Detent and AC barrel of course... but not alot of the "blockiness" of the old micro.... I mean from what I can tell the Automag was the FIRST Single tube marker... One thing I always liked was the "smallness" of them. The IONs, Minis, etc of today are single tube but not the same reliability of the mag.

I mean honestly how bad would it be to get a new mag set up that could use the swapped dress up kits of the ION... Wouldn't that blow some peoples skirts up!!!!

                            I think it'd be awesome.

Anywho, just my change on the subject!!!

                            As you were,

I'm liking the square-ish designs better. If I wanted a ULE looking body, I'd buy a ULE.

I'm seeing some cool stuff in here, keep it rolling.

I agree. many of the bodies I have seen available for mags are based on curves. ULEs Kartas, Dallaras, there's not a lot of options for sharp, square angles. If there's a nice, curvy idea for a Micro body, I'd love to see it, but nothing yet has swayed me from the original shape for it.
