You said based on ROF settings. what settings?

The software will wait a specific amount of time between firing cycles (turning the solenoid on and off). The amount of time is based on the ROF. A basic formula is:

Rof * X + Dwell = 1 second

X is the amount of time that must elapse between firing cycles. This requires the software to always keep track of the elapsed time. As long as X amount of time has elapsed since the last trigger cycle started it starts another cycle. If not, it waits until that amount of time has elapsed since the start of the last firing cycle and starts another one. Does that make sense?

I got my 9.6V rechargables, and it works like a dream. No chuffing anymore, I'm not sure why it did that, let's hope it wont happen again. I raised the dwell to 20ms since I started to se slight wear on the bolt. I'm still going to have to find out the battery life, but even if it's only 2000-3000 shots, I'm fine. I just have to be able to get through one day of playing, then I can recharge the batterys.

I still can't get it to go FA more than 17 cps reliably, but that's not really a problem, 17 is plenty fast. 17 bps FA sounds scary.

I think the noid is limited to 17cps.Or possibly the cap is, any way I haven't seen a hyperframe do any higher so your doing great! With the new 15 bps cap I don't see what the big deal is anyway

BTW, a hyperframe can fire at 20 bps fullauto. Go Here to view two short videos (HYPER1.AVI AND HYPER2.AVI) of my old level 10 hyperframed classic doing 20bps fullauto.

that is sick! I'm using 9.6v NIMH as well but mine doesn't even fire when I try 20 bps full auto, whats the trick I'm missing? I am using the values you suggest in your hyperframe faq thread.

AHH! Now I get what you are asking! The hyperframe has a SEPERATE ROF setting. After the solenoid is turned off it won't turn it back on until enough total time has elaped based on that seperate ROF setting (it does the calculations).

you've been able to get yours to shoot paint at 20 bps. I can get mine to cycle 20 cps, but it won't shoot paint that fast. I haven't messed with it for a while, but last time I did the lvl10 didn't want to cooperate at 20 bps. I was holding the sear down for 30 msec though.

I'll have to get it out and try again.

It's hard to say why Joni's set-up is topping out at 17bps.

I suspect that the battery can't recharge the cap fast enough. As I understand, the hyperframe "trickles" the noid, which gives the battery time to recover, but mine gives it full juice, which probably drains the cap, and it takes some time for it to recharge.
