Um, has anyone noticed that this drains the battery quite fast or is it just me?

It looks like the biggest hurdles for me are now the cutting of the grips and getting the electronics to fit into the frame (board, cap, and battery). I don't care though, this is so cool. I'm as giddy as a school girl.

EDIT: Nm, I didn't have the battery fully charged. It needs 14 hours, I only put it in for like 7. Ooops!

I was planning on starting a project much like this and was wondering where to get a proper solenoid? From what i have read people use the hyperframe or the spyder esp noid. Where could i get ether of these and or what are the specs i should look for if i were to get a different one? besides of cource buying a hyperframe or esp.

Done, just have to resolder the wires to the on/off switch (I snapped them off heh heh) and order a tboard, bb eyes, and ramping chip. I also installed magnets in the trigger and frame for return force and I'm going to try using magnets to limit the post travel. I will post pics and possibly vids when done. I must get my hands on some rubber eblade eye covers...

Haha, I was wrong. The switch is fine. The battery is just dead. Sometimes I wonder how I remember to breath air the right way...
I wish there was a way to prevent the grips from bulging so much. I guess I could put the battery outside of the frame under my warp bracket. But then it'll just look jerry-rigged, Poop.

Yes, I will definitely gets pics up.

Do you have your baterry turned sideways in the frame, if so why?

Yes, because I am not using a predator morlock I don't have as much room as Joni did. The Kingman esp board (and eventually tboard) is much larger than the tiny morlock. I can't fit the battery in lengthwise even with dremeling the frame out more. So, I just made a pouch for the battery out of pink duct tape and covered it with this fuzzy blue material. It sits on the outside of the gun on the warp bracket via stick-on velcro strips. Very ghetto, especially with the fuzzyness. Straight up pimpin. Heres what I have left to do:

                1. Resolder connection on on/off switch since I am an ape and I broke a wire off. Done
                2. Buy a new rechargeable 9.6v battery since the Kingman battery's cell died.Didn't need to, it was the on/off's fault
                3. Lengthen wires to the battery harness so I can put the ghetto pouch on the bottom of the warp bracket. Done, the battery sits in a fuzzy blue pouch under my warp bracket
                4. Order Tboard, BB eyes, and Ramping Tchip.Done.
                5. Install Tboard and Ramping chip.Done.
                ___________________________________________
                6. Dremel pathway for eyes.
                7. Have local shop drill eye holes and buy eblade eye covers from them.
                8. Buy lvl 7 parts and swap lvl 10 out.

Should be done by the end of summer. I'm going to stop for a little when I get the tboard and ramp chip in there and just use lvl 10 for a while. Thus the break line I inserted between steps 5 and 6. When I get the time I'll complete 6-8. But that'll be after summer ends, maybe sometime around October or November.

Ok, I just installed the tboard and ramping chip. So far I've only cycled the noid. So fast. I'm going to get my tank filled today so I'll post back how it shoots.

                      sik!
I know u used the noid from an esp frame, but I was wondering if you knew where i could get it from, or any other one which would work, like the hyper frame noid. I only want the noid and not have to buy a whole frame.
cant wait to see some vids

I know you could go to your local pro shop and buy a replacement esp noid for like $40. But then, that's what I paid for a complete esp frame. I believe you could also call centerflag.
