Also, there weren't too many pictures of the fittings so i could compare them to see if they were of different types and sizes. luckily the sole Clippard distributer in the UK is only a half hour drive from me so i'm able to pick em up easily enough. All ineed to know the correct last three letters after the numbers ie...11752-5-PKG for instance, so i can start to build this bad boy! Thanks for the offer to make a frame for me, i may take you up on the offer if i make a proper cock up it!!! Actually i have a question for you, i'm gonna use my intelliframe to build a prototype first before i move onto a Chimera frame. What's the best way to dril/machine a hole in the frame to accomodate the nail (Phishmag stylee) so it strikes the Fabco MSV-2? 'Cos there isn't a whole lot of room to get a drill in there.

The best way to drill a hole for a nail is to drill straight through the trigger guard.

or through the back of the frame.

Hey guys... I need your help

I'm starting to build detailed diagrams of pneumagic stuff... http://automags.org/forums/showthrea...38#post2185738

I know its painfully basic right now, but the goal is for all us "low techs" to understand what a pneumag actually is.. and eventually have detailed documentation on how it works / how to build one.

sooo i have an xvalve with ult and i heard the QEV is what makes this mod go fast and light

now im wondering do i HAVE TO mate the mpa to the qev by tapping and threading or can i just hook up a barb to it and then relocate the QEV elsewhere on the frame..

reason im asking is i have an intelliframe and ijust looked over the red eye site and how they did it and they said they didnt ahve enough room for the QEV so they took it off....

Oh you got an anti chop bolt? Put your toungue in there and prove it to me.

QEV is nice, but not needed. You'll never outshoot the frame pulling only semi...even if it doesn't have a QEV. I just like putting it on so I can be 100% the MPA will retract before a ULT on/off won't be slowed down at extremely high rates of fire.

Plus if you want to run the full auto thing like shorty, it can help the MPA vent a teeny bit as the sear pushes back making it faster. But to be honest, who shoots 29CPS full auto in a game...EVER. Nice to show up SP guns, but not too practical.

i thought the qev allowed for a lighter trigger pull?

so basically to my understanding the purpose of the QEV is to increase max ROF ? and NOT a lighter trigger pull?

QEV = quick exhaust valve. It dumps the air from the piston AT the piston very quickly. Otherwise it has to be routed back throught the hose and out the small MSV-1 holes. SiIt adds marginal performance if any. Not really necessary for the speeds most humanoids can pull the trigger

I threw a QEV in my classic pneu, just for that margin. I was down to about a chuff a second and I think it was the QEV that got me less than a chuff a second. I think the RT effect and recharge rate on the other valves make a QEV even less noticeable (if at all). I like the way it sounds though.
