just wondering...AGD...any idea when these will go into production? also...will they use just regular body rails? if so...what about the twist & lock pin in our body rail...do we take that out...or does the body just go over it?

I cant wait to see the $20,000 KAPP (f)lame emag. It will look so nice until you look at it with your wallet. Perhaps they will do custom milling services for people with these bodies.

hey check this one out.... my brother (known as ringmasta187 on the forums here) drew this up and i put it together on the computer.

i lowered the highrise so now its almost like a no rise.
also i added some material to the slug body.

also...what i would love to see on rt and rt pro rails is that you can shift the grip forward or backwards i show it when it pushed it. I would like the feel of that.

also im wondering.....is it at all possible to get just the rail/grip/battery pack for the emag.....the entire lower half of the gun?

Please read the thread.... What they are looking for has been stated in GREAT detail.... and in great detail WHY they can't do designs like you posted.

one thing shartly....i thought these sluggo bodies were for not only agd but for them to sell to places to be custom milled or to be sold to people who would custom mill their own bodies. I though this design was pretty good. I think people would like a mag that looks like my design. But then again i know you guys might want something less original and more boring because of cost but then why even bother making new bodies when they will just resemble your old ones. People want change and new looks. Take for instance cocker and angel bodies. There custom milling and interesting designs are one reason why they sell so well. Everyone knows a mag works good but people want guns that look and work good. And just putting some new lines and minor curves on a plane old tube body does not look good.

PS i read the entire thread before posting any of my designs

                      ...

Cu's body is the best for simple machining. Some of the others are impossible or very costly. If you want to keep it simple use parts of cones (lathe) and pockets more that 3/8" wide (mill) to create your designs.

For example, if you cut a cone in the front and back so the they tapper to points and then cut slots in the side, that would be less expensive.

                        Finished Version Available

Is there any time frame rumored or hopefully official regarding when mass-produced carved and anodized SLUG bodies will be available to current owners or older Mags like the Minimag and Automag? And any general price range (100-200, 200-300 300-400?) given? I take it different designs will have different rates, but I'd be interested in knowing what plain black or blue/black fade with basic cuts would go for. And any trade-in for current bodies? That plan worked well with valves, it would be great if it was available again.
And is it confirmed that Autococker-thread/Angel high rise vertical feed bodies WILL be available for Automags and Minimags at some point in the future through AGD or is it just a rumor still?
