    pricing

With all of those options I would have payed about 400 for it, because more and you are getting into RT Pro territory. For woodsball CO2 is a good idea with the X-valve, just need to make it so it works well in cooler temperatures, also if it is easily swappable to HPA then that could be a huge selling point. In my opinion the A-5 is so popular, because it has something unique, it's cyclone feed system and it kind of looks like an MP-5. Go cheap on the components you can get away with, like barrel. No ULT and have a militeresque design like the A-5. It is hard to say. 400 is too much to take anything by storm under 300 should be the goal, then kiddies parents will be more likely to buy them. Drop items and make them options to reduce the price, if it is feasible.

The real fun of the scenario game is the role-playing: missions, uniforms and "weapons". To really get scenario players excited, I think that the tac one has to look the part - more like a real firearm.
Excellent point. It's also one of the reason many paintballer are converted to Airsoft.

Tom, did that last post mean that you are working on a co2 compatible xvalve? If so, good stuff.

Yea otherwise thats a werid situation. If the Xvalve and Classic options costed the same that would be a hard choice. 16bps vs 30+bps, reactivity, LX, and aluminuim valve

I showed a pic to my dad and asked him 'how much would you pay for that' and he said 'well, is it better than the a5?'

I replied with a very big 'hell yeah!' and he said 'well, probably like 250-300.'

So I'll say 250-300, and thats amazing, my dad would barely buy a-5's, but he actually like the look of this.

Great, now that we have decided on the pricing. Please NO 6 months waiting time; otherwise, the storm would be over =)

                      HIGH-500

IMO anything more then that and most people will just go with an electro for the "fire power". Too many dont believe in mags now. I think if this could take off in scenerio it could be the turning point to bring mags back all around paintball. Biggest thing I hear people say against mags when I have mine out is their so expensive compared to everything else and so hard to find and get parts for anymore (without ordering).

Well maybe for prices you should consider different models.

A low end one $300/$350: (Tippmann A-5). Don't include x-valve, Intelliframe, JJ barrel, level 10.

Then a sup'd up model: $700/$750 (Proteam Products A-5 Ranger f/x Deluxe). Where you would include all the bells and whistles.

I like the idea of what Riotz said, but with 1 change.
Tac One- Cool body, Classic Valve, Level 10, no barrel. $300-350. Runs on ever popular Co2...maybe include a expansion chamber as a foregrip.
Tac One Pro- Body, Intelliframe, x-valve, ult, lx, barrel. $500-700.
Level 10 should be in every gun that leaves the factory now.

Cool deal there Tom. Hopefully production is going to be in full swing soon to get these on the market by Christmas time!

OK, I'm sold if its only $400-$450 I'll probably be picking one up soon after their release. I am a little disapointed that I can't buy them wholesale to have in my shop, but for that price I can live with it.
