Hey, BTW it's Doobie--not Dobbie...Dobbie's the elf in Harry Potter!! Everyone seems to make that mistake!! It's kinda funny though, cuz Dobbie was a really annoying character...hehehe!!

All is well with me and my men, thanks! We even took down a bad guy the other day. It seems someone made the mistake of shhoting around SGT Goreman and well, that guy wound up in the hospital with a 5.56mm round in his back as he tried to run! Big ups to SGT Goreman!
A Teese is "arse" in Arabic, BTW.

first off, happy new year to you and your men doobie. two questions for ya. first, why is the american flag patch on yalls shoulder backwards? and second, do your men act differently because you were once a drill sargent? or i guess another way to look at that is being a former drill sargent do you tend to focus on things that other sargents dont? not that i am impling that you are some kind of hardass or anything, just curious how well drill sargents intergrate back into platoon life.

Not too much. It is all up to the Drill when he gets back to the platoon level. I have always been an easy going leader but very firm when people screw up. "I'll treat you with respect until you earn my dispespect" is what I tell my men. The Drill gig was an acting job with a serious purpose. I can still tap into that when someone steps out of line!do your men act differently because you were once a drill sargent?
