Retardedly slow fingers or too hobo to afford a high ROF gun?

You're assuming that this is the case because.........?

You have retardedly slow fingers and are too hobo to afford a high ROF yourself, right? I see.

I think the pic in your sig says it all, smoking will stunt your growth, slow your fingers and make you hobo....

Sure, I'd love to see a mech only league and tourneys. I think that would give some of us players with limited budgets more play time.

did i hit it right on the head in your case foo? i think so...

You guys do realize that this would hurt the paint manufactures... and that being NPS,PMI, ETC. Which just happen to be the huge company's that fuel the sport, this is not gonna happen.

You seem to think this thread is to stop electric tourny play and you are wrong. It is simply an avenue to re-open tournament play to those who cannot or do not want to spend thousands on a spray and pray E-machine gun. I own two E-markers and two mech markers and it is different styles of playing. If you say differently then you are the fool.

You seem to be whinning quite a bit about how this would hurt paintball when the only thing it seems to hurt is your pathetic, negative opinion. No one is suggesting E-guns be banned or those tournaments changed, but simply opening another level of tournament play for those that choose to play mech. That's why other professional sports have different levels of competition. Thus allowing newer players, lower income, time challenged, less dedicated, or what ever people to play others closer to their level, improve and have fun.

Of course I'm sure people are against this if they get their kicks by spraying the field because they are immature and lack talent or team work. And spouting names like Hobo's because opponents don't have a fancy gun is always good for the sport as well. Maybe you should tell your sponsor about this terrible revolution that troubles you. Like you have one. After all, you are so enlightening an open minded to promoting what's good for the sport and all.

Or, since this is such a waste of time and bad for the sport, you could find something else to do rather than waste space and bash people with your pathetic attempts at looking intelligent on a productive thread that is aimed at promoting the sport for everyone.

Morons who demean people and rely on spray and pray lack character, intelligence and skills both on or off the field.

It's people like you that are bad for the sport.

did i hit it right on the head in your case Crazy? i think so...

              Happy New Year!

I believe it's high time for your face mask to have a nice little encounter with a paintball from my Sniper (which is a pump gun, which I don't think you're familiar with at all). Then we'll see how much I need an electro semi-auto .

I still question why we would want to limit the gun, when its much easier to limit the paint (within reason). Not saying hopperball, but maybe hopper and pod?

But I still shoot a mech gun, so Id play mech only tourneys. Heck, have one in the midwest and Id most likely be there.

i have sat down across from spaceman, and discussed this over drinks. and i do agree with him here. a limited paint rule would speed the game up. it would make for very interesting and fun speedball.

just this fall he and i played for the first time together, and i think the best game we played was when we played semi's vs. pumps (+2 first time players with semis) in fact we were out numbered if i remember, 11 (5 stuck class too i think!) of us, 13 of them. this game underlined the point that the fun factor is not dependant upon spraying. i will admit that i do love to use my retro valve in a bouncy kind of way, sometimes i'm in the mood to play as such.... would i in any tourny? no

i would still like to see a mech only tourny, but i, like spaceman, would also prefer to see limited paint. it would definatly make for a skill based game, fast, lots of movement.....and would of course cut back on cheater boards (what's the point in dumping your hopper and a pod in 30 seconds, when a game lasts 20times longer?)

cheers and have a good NYE

I thought they already had limited paint tourneys. Where you only get a hopper full per game.

You guys do realize that this would hurt the paint manufactures...
How is bringing more people up to a tournement level going to hurt the sales of paint? Ever hear of stock class? I would think that 80% or more of paint sales are going to rec-ball play anyways.

EDIT: I would play in a mec only tourney. Would be great fun.

yeah they did limited paint.. that way most people would limit the amount of Eguns there were.... why run on the field with a new IR3 when your out of paint in less than a few seconds.

Pan Am did limited paint and dropped it this year. But that does not mean that mech only or limited paint format is dead. It just means they did not want to continue it. End of story.

What I think we need to do is go out into our respective paintball worlds and start asking around if people would be into this.

Ask the guys in your start box before the game starts, or ask the field owner if they would run such an event while your paying your field fee. Online communities like this one are great places for like minded people to get together but we are hardly going to form enough players off of this board to support a whole mech/limited paint league alone. We need the rest of the communities input.

maybe we can even get some fields to host a trial run. Maybe in late summer, start plugging the event soon, but make them worth while so that teams from other states will come.
