The ULT has detrimental effects just like it would on the Emag (your not supose to run the ULT on an Emag). The ULT has lower overall operational force.. which means less return force after the marker is fired. For a regular trigger this is good, but when you are relying on that return force to help cycle/reset some mechanism, it's actually bad- slows everything down too much and hurts your ROF- no matter how many magnets/springs you try to add to the trigger.

There may be an optimised on/off pin configuration size that would work the absolute best, but so far the stock (Xvalve/RT) on/off works very well as is.

finaly made it through all 18 pages.... this thread is getting out of hand. i've been toying with the idea of doing somthing that would end up the a end result along the same lines, i just need to get a new frame for my autoresponse trigger (broke a tap off inside it) the thing about the autoresponse is you get the first shot it 1 - 1.5mm with a trigger stop you don't get the second one. only problem there is the pull is very heavy, i'm thinking with a specalized version of the ULT it might work out though. In fact until people started talking about this being a much nicer verion on punisher's automacker I thought that was how DW was doing it.

Whew...me too. 56K dialup is not a good idea on this thread...so I went somewhere with high-speed DSL.

I just got completely comfortable with my iR3...and now this! I just gave my ULE mag to my father-in-law, and now, I want my mag back. :)

As far as preorders go, DON'T DO IT!!! WAIT UNTIL THE PRODUCT IS READY TO BE RELEASED!!! I preordered a WAS board last April (a year ago!!!) and I haven't had an Imp in about 7 months now...still no WAS board. When you preorder something, you want it fairly soon...I just think it would be a better idea to get it produced and working and then put it out there (to AOers first, though :))

I know...and I'm glad. It's just not a good thing. There are probably a lot of people PMing Nicad to put them on a waiting list. On a product this HOT...everyone wants one NOW!! Preorders = bad.
