AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
Originally posted by AGD Things like the safety have to be redesigned because its hard to make a .010 trigger pull not move. In e-guns you just turn off the power. So there are a lot more considerations in producing this than you would think.
AGD
Couldnt you just use something to stop the sear from moving? I mean dont try and stop the trigger from activating the 3 way and ram, but just lock the sear in place so that it cannot move. I dont think it would hurt the ram to have pressure in it and be held back by the safety. IDK just an idea. Or you could shut off the air pressure to the 3 way with an on/off assembly, but that would be more complicated and expensive. And it might also leave enough pressure in the 3 way and air lines to activate the ram.
6 adjustments? hmmm
I can think of:
1. Trigger slop adjustment(forward of firing point)
2. Trigger stop adjustment(after firing)
3. Trigger firing point(moving the 3 way out/into the grip, the hole beside the 3 way looks like it might use a set screw to lock it in place)
4. Adjustments of the ram up and down...or forward and back...depending where the ram is.
5. Trigger force(magnets mentioned earlier)
6. Reg pressure...which would also affect trigger pressure.
Idk, but if those are the adjustments I would keep them, except maybe the ram adjustment.
I've been watchin this since the electrician's mag was posted in the workshop. Its a great idea and cant wait to see the production version. I'll be gettin one as soon as they come out :)
Originally posted by Dubstar112 Ok, so a question for Tom when he returns from his research. What would be a production length trigger pull(max vs min)? Is a saftey mandatory?
I would think if AGD is involved, yes there would be a safety. Id imagine the min trigger pull is what they are showing, and the max would be as long as you want, seeing that it looks to have a pre/post travel adjustment and magnets adding to the force of the trigger pull.
The problem with the safety is exactly what I was thinking about. You can't really stop a .01 pull with a standard safety. I think the idea of stopping the sear instead of the trigger is a good one. The price seems fair. Especially if it is below 300$.
Thanks for the update, always good to have info directly from the people that count.
To me it seems like it would be a good idea to keep people updated here with your progress (although that might just be my desire to have more info on this project). If you have issues there are plenty of bright minds on the forums that might be able to offer ideas to help out.
As far as the safety goes, I don't think AGD would release it without one.
New Mag in the works.
Black ULE Body, Chrome I-Frame, Chrome Omega rail, X-valved mag.
Ice ULE Body, Black I-Frame, Black Omega rail, lvl 10 valve mag.

I don't know how well that is going to work with a powerfull ram pushing the sear. In my eMag the solenoid can override the safety if you pull the trigger enough times. It usually only takes a few times.
Hey Hitech your starting to sound like me! - AGD
Hitech is the man.... - Blennidae The only Hitech Lubricant
You guys think that price of $250 to $300 will include an intelliframe or y frame because if he has to redo the safties it almost seems easier if they just make "hAir trigger frames" instead of sending yours in and making all the mod changes...just wondering cuase $250-$300 w/o intelli seems just a bit pricey...my 2cents

For any pics canyone can post them at www.jayloo.com. No limits just make sure its pball related. I would create some special groups for this project.
For vids lemme know how many and how big and I could probably host them.
Woohoo! Official word updates! Yay! Hey TK if you're gonna be anywhere near middle TN (like, oh, I dunno, 12 or so hours driving) I could come help! Really I could!
