Yes it *should* work with a classic.
I say *Should* instead of WILL cause I havent tested it on a classic, but there is no foreseeable reason it will not work.
it will allow you to outrun the valve tho.. which will cause missfeeds, and possibly breaks in the barrel. :-/
--(part of my post on pbnation)--
Sorry for the "unstable" shooting.. I suck at shooting fast.. but guess what, I can hit 16bps on this thing. Others I'm sure could hold that stream of paint in one spot.
What wasn't stated in the video is that we found some shot-to-shot bursts that where over 18bps (audio analysis), based on the time between the two shots. Angels, etc would have reported that as shooting 18+ BPS.
Since I believe in consistent ROF, we used the "shots over any given full second" rule for the reported BPS.
We tried the hAir with the ULT kit yesterday or so.. the trigger pull could be adjusted down to 0.9 oz pull weight... this setup had detrimental effects on the max ROF tho.
The 2.0 oz stated pull weight is the minimum the trigger was tested at (with stock Xvalve on/off) and still functioned. The prototype has the option to stack magnets to add to trigger return weight (just like the emag). To get higher ROF, you actually want a slightly harder trigger pull to return the trigger fast enough. In the video I was running about 3-4 oz weight.

Am I not alone in thinking some people are going to be upset at the actual price of this thing?
Your talking about a custom set of pneumatics here, assembled on a small scale. I can't imagine this thing going for the 200-300 price range most are wanting.Comment

I agree with you. The price range may be more than people are wanting, but I think there will still be people buying. Think of the Hyperframe. Few years back they were near 300. I think the benefit outweighed the cost in that case. And I think in this case, it will be the same. Think about it.
(I paid 270 for my hyperframe.

I H8 to agree with Brophog but I think it will cost more than most in this thread are talkin about. Nicad can you give us a rough idea of when this will be ready? 6 months... a year?

i must have thisTop 10 Reasons to Date a Paintball Player:
1.We aren't afraid to get down and dirty
2.We know how to listen to directions
3.We at least have a ten inch barrel
4.We always wear protection
5.We love to be aggressive
6.We like to push hard, but not hard enough to get hit
7.We clean our barrels a lot
8.If we run out of air, it takes less than 5 seconds to get us going again
9.We're good at moving our fingers extremely fast in small places
10.We can move and contort our bodies into weird positions

BTW, I found a really easy way to measure tigger pull weight.
I took my digital scales, and taped a magnet onto the surface. Tare'd, and took another magnet, with repelling forces, and put them closer untill they got to a specific weight. Is this a sound method?AO #765

Although it's just speculation at this point, I agree. I can't see it being below $300. It will probably be more like $350-$400. Even though it is not electronic, it seems reasonable to assume it will be in the price range of the Worrblade, which is fair, based on the performance shown in the video. Although, you never know :)Originally posted by Brophog
