nope... Shots per tank are the same wether you have it set to 600 or 1000 psi.

That's technically true, but nobody shoots their tank that
low since it's too easy to chuff [added: with even the X/RT
valve]. With the short throw, you wouldn't have that
problem.

Your missing most of my point here, if not all of it. At the time I made the comment about mechanicals not hitting these speeds without RT's, I was correct, as this was not (and still is not) out yet.

Yes, and your implicit assumption was that mechs wouldn't get any faster. That was the context. You had been worrying that speed of electros would keep climbing. The fact that it's not for sale yet doesn't uninvent what's in the video. You were just as correct as someone who might have said electros don't go faster than 31 cps. At the time, they'd be correct.

The point I am making in this thread is that before you all sell your souls for one of these, you should let some of the environmental conditions calm down a bit.... I feel that it is only right in this environment to warn the mob mentality of these sorts of things.

Ah, just filling the role of Socrates warning against the shadows on the cave wall? Well, what exactly should we let "calm down"? The "environment" is such a broad term as to be essentially vaccous. If this trigger is such a big problem, they can make a rule against it. But if it isn't in use, it doesn't follow there would be a rule against it. Nor do changes in the rules necessarily preclude further developments in technology.

I attacked your arguments specifically. And yes I used your posts. But that is attacking your ideas. I didn't attack your character or person. That's why it wasn't a personal attack.

Now, you admit your impressed with the engineering. Well, that's sort of the point. It's innovative engineering. Your insistance that you aren't impressed by its basic comparitive speed is as silly as someone saying they aren't impressed with a Ferrari that goes as fast as any other Ferrari, yet gets 75 miles to the gallon. Just because you are impressed by something doesn't necessarily mean you like it.

It might be more accurate to say that with this mod
you don't need trigger reactivity... 2oz pull and
the imperceptibly short trigger throw raises the bar
even by electro standards... The only real weakness
is that the mechanism is inherently "fair" and doesn't
support ramping or bounce. This is #1 on my list
of upgrades.

i am looking at this as a GREAY product. It will sell very well but at what impact to other AGD products? how will it effect other sales? cost impact?

Nicad is not part of AGD from what i know, i am no expert.

The problem that I see here is you release a video for a possible product that could be months off from being released.

This will cause alot of people to become dis satisfied if they can not buy it......NOW. This will cause many calls to Tom and Nicad wasting there precious time already.

From what i have learn do not release something like this without having all things ready for a quick release sure drop a video like this before a product is done and get attention.

Dont release this if everything is not DONE. from Tom's comments this is not an AGD product, or yet.
So i really hope this does not have a negative effect if the release of this great product is months away. I really hope its weeks away.
