That's quite interesting. Looks like it's going to be difficult and/or useless to 'protect' this idea since there is prior art. Perhaps Nicad should talk to SmartParts to figure out how they did it . This will be a nice way to keep a gun all-mechanical but still feel like an electro.

Will this get compared to electros? Of course. You're kidding yourself if you think otherwise. That's what this was designed/made for, a mechanical system that feels like an electro. The nicest thing (IMHO) about this mod: this will be able to define the word 'cheater.' Seeing how this works, the trigger pull from this gun could (and should) feel exactly like an electro. If you can shoot an electro with the same trigger pull faster than this trigger, the electro is artificially helping you. Simple as that.

My thoughts exactly. You would not need to buy the upgrade to the I-frame for obvious reasons, but add Deadywinds frame for $350 (or less hopefully) to the $419 for a total of only $769. Now that's cheap for a 20bps mechanical gun!
