I just received my Software Update in the Mail. I had the 2.4 Version from AGD on it.

After Installing teh XMod I was amazed about it. I could not stop playing with it...lol

YOU HAVE DONE A VERY NICE JOB KEEP IT GOING

I will look into to get the ACE Straight out and then maybe next weekend out to the Field and try out my new Baby.......

I have yet to chop paint with the Xmod software on my Emag (no eyes).
Even on full auto. I do keep fresh batteries in the Empire B though.

well I build me an XMag so i do have Eyes just did not adjust them yet.

But its still a very nice Thing that somebody keeps working on things like that. Thats the Point

everybody should see that the Mag (general) will never Die.....

I moved 2 weeks ago so a lot of my stuff is still in boxes and I've been working on that. 1.8 is done I just need to upload it. I will send out an email when I do.

Being out after some time, I came here again and read your post about the 1.8 version comming out. Can you tell what's the new mod's included in the code?

Also, I tuned my Mag to ROF 17, DWEL 15 and FIX 11. It seems to be working good. I intend to do some more testing during the next weekend.

More successful runs of 1.6

ALCON: The X-Mag has run the last two weekends on NXL and SEMI. The settings are as follows;
SEMI/NXL -- ROF 15
DWELL -- 15
FIX -- 20
ACE -- On with no delay
PRESSURE INTO THE MARKER -- 985 PSI
BATTERY CHARGE -- 19.01 VOLTS
LVL X WITH MEDIUM SPRING -- FPS 271-275

I had two off my best days lately. This software worked so flawlessly that I forgot about the marker I was using and could concentrate on the games at hand...now for most you think you do that but what I'm talking about is how my X-Mag was an extension of my arm/hand and mind with what I needed to accomplish on the field. It has been along time since I felt that.

One barrel break on the first day and none on the second day. The ACE and LVL X worked perfectly. The greatest thing was by the end of the day all the AGG kids that thought the EGOs, DM6s, PM6s and timmies were the only fast markers in the world were schooled by me on both the woodsball and the speedball fields. One kiddo with "the GAT" by WDP couldn't believe that I alone went through the team he was playing on the hyper speedball field.........Behold the power of the X-MAG...............

ok been off with a detached retina so i've had time to tune and adjust my emag. first off i added a nitro duck adjustable reg and boottle crank the input presure to about 975. that just solved a of the issuses of chuffing at any thing above 15bps. it now can go to 21 bps with no chuffing and can shoot a 19 bps with no breaks w just a level ten. lorne you the man just waiting for the update to 1.8 thanks again for such a wonderful product later jim

Weekend of ownage!!

Hey Lorne, you probably don't remember me, but I bought your Xmod about 2 months or so ago. I go by the email [email protected]. Anyway, here is my story I never had an Emag or any mag for that matter, I only seen them but never had the chance to shoot one, because I was poor.

So I stopped playing all together. Suddenly years later my friends all got into paintball and bought super guns like Ego's, PM5's, DM6's and Karnivors. Fortunately, I have just finished with my BS degree and got a good job and have the money to buy any of those guns, but I didn't. No sir, the first thing I did was look for AGD, and buy two Emags and exchange the parts. I spent months putting my EMAX baby together, and endured being laughed at and made fun of by my friends. Sometimes I felt like giving up and accepting the fact that there was no hope for my Emag against those guns. I really now know how Noah felt when he created the Arc. Anyway, I bought the Xmod to help my Emag shoot better, but it did more than that. It OWNED!

The Xmod did wonders and it shut their fat faces up for good. Lorne, I salute you.

So no one has anything new to report other than me?

I put 1.8 on my newly aquired Karta Emag. The gun is flawless. New board and battery as well from what I have been told.

Im having a quirky issue with it when changing some of the settings. For example, when I go to change the ROF, it should go 8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,20 and so on. Many times, it will skip numbers, apparently at random. Example 9, 12,13,16,18,20.

Same thing with the Firing modes. Sometimes it will skip NXL until I cycle through them all again.

Wierd. On my Xmag it seems fine and has never done anything like this. Is this a chip issue or software?

If I get Xmod on my emag...can I have eyes (breakbeam or bouncebeam) installed...or will I need an Xmag board?

I really want to toss the LX out the window.

Currently it will not work with break beams. I hear rumbelings that there might be a version compatible with them in the future.

I also hear Divenax's new ACE board is well in the works. That should work fine with it.

I dont know why you would want to toss the lvl10 for.
