For $25 I will make you a Cock and Balls boot message but I do have to agree, that is quite possibly the gayest thing I have ever seen. Maybe if it was (o)(o) it would be ok. I'll be at Shatner Ball looking for the guy with the pink jerzy...lolOriginally posted by behemothThe fact that you're drawing ASCII cocknballs for your boot message..Comment

Yeah, That was just sort of a joke. I'd probably go for something more oldschool like, "Would you like to play a game of chess?"Comment

Paul,
In 1.8, would it be possible to indicate the ramping start in the power-on message? For example, if one was using the 04bps setting it would read XMOD 1.8-04 and for the 12bps setting, it would read XMOD 1.8-12? That way it wouldn't take up much more space, but would provide an indication to the user of when to expect ramping.
I installed last Saturday and haven't had a chance to play with it this week, so I can't remember what code I flashed onto the marker.
I went like this :shooting:
He went like this :tard: then like this :wow: then like this
Now he shoots a Mag too...

Yea that would be possible I'll consider that for the next version. I can't make it dynamic though I'd have to do it manually to each boot up message.Originally posted by JRingoldPaul,

That's what I was thinking, unless you've found a way to make the ramping start dynamic, rather than requiring a new codeset.Originally posted by LorneCashYea that would be possible I'll consider that for the next version. sajjad Flashed the software for me, well all I can say is I have never apreciated jus tho wmuch of a difference software can make to a marker, it feels totally different now.
Plus Hypermod eis good for anti cat purposes :)
One question I get the brightness function menu open, yet all it does is either turn itself off or automaticly turn onto full brightness, very confusing.
p.s. to clarify it's my software.Comment

XMOD on www.pbreview.com
Some of the guys set up this post at pbreview.com... I'd like it if some more of you, especially my loyal supporters from way back, could post more reviews now that you've had it for a while. Also please comment on my "tech support" for those of you who did have issues.

Anyone else, that has had the X-Mod done to their Mag, have newly updated opinions and/or reviews on this Mod?
thanks,

Updated my mags a while back...
I updated all my mags to run the new XMod and it's great. It gives you the capability of most of the boards out there now. The downside is that I noticed the standard setup wasn't adequate to run it at such high rates of fire. I never had an issue with it before the mod. My fix was to switch out all of my on/off assemblies to a ULT and on average you need to have an input pressure of 950psi and above to run without shootdown. Other than that it works great I think it's best to have nothing lower than 1000psi for consistency without shootdown. It's a gas hog, but it'll run as fast as anything out there.

You really shouldnt have to put a ult in there under any circumstances.
YEs, the one downside to having a performance mag is that the mechanical parts must all be in spec. A $16 investment in a set of digital calipers is money well spent.
Anyone who needs help hit me up and I will do my best.Comment
