We've got 5 pages and several other threads of what you feel...

Now what are you going to do? AGD offered to fix it. You going to take it up or are you going to complain some more about it? Maybe by looking at YOUR gun, they can solve this problem from happening again.

But that would make too much sense wouldn't it?

that is absolutely false. first of all you could go back to a previous version. easy. guaranteed to work. you lose the shot buffering but TOO BAD! or you could do what SEVERAL people have suggested. get a new HES. or install a cap. if you don't want to do it yourself there's plenty of people here who would be willing to do it for you. finally you could actually SEND IT TO AGD! do you think that with one of their X's showing problems on the new software that they want to put on ALL of them is having problems that won't be the first thing they work on when it comes in? give me a break.

devildog- y'know that's what my first thought was when phil said he started it up to make sure it had 3.2 which DB has requested. first adopters always get to work out the bugs. that's the way it always happens with technology.

and if you wanna talk about making comparisons with other products let's talk about computer parts since mechanically the marker is just fine. go hang out on a computer tech forum and see how many people receive DOA motherboards, video cards, ram, and processors.

maybe youd care to elaborate on that, i dont see how your marker is crippled, it still fires right? just has a flaw in one part, if you ask me, thats what a software bug is.

But it does happen all the time when there is software involved. Its never "perfect", electronics always seem to have a few stragglers that cause problems. Most people just get it fixed. Which is what they are trying to do with you. It more and more looks like you now just want another product for other reasons and want to get a refund so you can do so. Not saying that is the case but it sure looks that way. Not allowing them the chance to fix it. This is just getting old and you need to figure out what your doing. Either send it in to be fixed or sell it and move on. It is a paintball gun not a life support sysatem. Yes it was alot of money but you have options to rectify it.

BlackVCG is a certified factory satellite tech. They don't give those out lightly. I think you might be able to trust this guy.

As for #1- you sure did assume that people at AO day pulled the trigger that many times. I already quoted it. Blazingace just got his Xmag. Had 680+ shots on it. Is he complaining? No.

Lastly- #3- Phil already told you he'd pay for shipping and that Tom would look at it personally. Are we NOT reading? Get over your pride, send the damn gun in.

#2. That's fine...but he's not the manufacturer and I don't know the guy so I'm not sending it to him...does he ever come to Tournaments out here? Is he the face of AGD on the west coast? No..sorry...i paid $1300 and I'm not sending it to someone I don't feel confident in..

#3. That's fine...but I shouldn't to pay one dollar out of my pocket to fix a gun that never should have been let out of the factory in teh first place...and I will sell the gun..and if it's such a problem for you stop posting responses..

#1 again..yes...BA's gun had 680 shots on it...mine had 2 and a half times more...that's not even in the same ballpark..

Look on the forums...the day I got the gun I had already posted up about the problem and it has been admitted that people knew the problem as early as the the AO-SE meet. That's over 8 days ago without a comment from anyone concrete about a resolution to the problem. I shouldn't have to wait 8 days for anyone to comment about anything...that's what I meant about horrible customer service.

Its called a telephone... You want an answer you dont post a thread on a forum expecting that they will come answer you. Especially since it is a holiday weekend. How is it horrible customer service for someone not to reply on a online forum during a holiday week. I never saw you even mention that you made any attempt to contact anyone other then posting here.

The thing I dont think you understand is that this "runaway" problem isn't always happening right away. It could have been working completely fine before it was shipped. The solution to the problem is simple, new software, new HES, or get rid of it.... Obviously your too stubborn to get up from your computer and do anything at all about it because you dont "feel" like it. That is weak.

Feel lucky that 1) you have the President of the company offering to fix the gun personally, and 2) that it WON'T cost you another cent.

Try getting that from ANY other company and you'll see why AGD is still top of the heap. I went through the same thing you're going through with my new Bushmaster about a year ago, only it cost me money to send it in for repair, it came back with MORE problems, it didn't even have all the features it was supposed to have, and ICD never even bothered to send me the right bolt for the gun. But that's not important to you because it was only a $650 gun, not a $1300 gun like you keep telling us EVERY FREAKING FIVE MINUTES! Oh, and I only waited 8 months for that gun.

Either sell the gun or send it in to get fixed. While you're typing endless replies you could be boxing the gun up to send out.

Well there are OTHER companies that will do that. AGD is among the top I would say, they dont stand alone.

Actually I've talked to quite a few Presidents call me before..I've had Bud Orr call me directly about an issue...the captain of team NYX called me about a Matrix problem...many people do that...don't act like it's all that special...

But you have time enough to post and complain in 5 threads... Odd how that works out.

A 5 minute phone call would've really killed you.
