AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
doesnt bother me one bit. I dont plan on selling my devilmag. The reason i bought one is so i could have the familiar feel of my mag plus lots of speed and reliablility. As for efficiency, if you are at a normal field it shouldnt matter. Just fill up when you arent playing. I play alot of renegade but i dont think i'll be ripping on my devilmag during those games because that is pointless.
I personally dont care about the ion whatsoever. This whole thread is the same as all the other gun vs. gun threads. Shoot what you like and let others do the same. There isnt any point in slandering one person's gun. They all serve the same function anyways
there we go thats what i mean
Euro E-mag | TL63 | XMOD| EM01610
Euro Rt | OG | RT02382.
thats great then run it what ever floats your boat just dont be complaining about how mags run and stuff you dont know(derected tward pritty much everybody) about
i have every right to complain if I want to. yea Im still a mag owner. i think it was a great top of the line gun......emphasis on was
it just kinda sucks that they are still the same....after all these years, which would be ok if they were up to the standards of todays markers, but even you have to admit, they arent
same as a x-valved mag -------> BAD. and you leave 800psi in your tank
How much is left is irrelevant. How many rounds did you shoot with the air used?
THAT's what's important.
Not to say that there aren't markers that get more shots per tank, just that HP or LP and air left are completely useless and meaningless discussion points.

when i had my mag i got 500-600 shots from a 88 3k tank(it had x-valve, all the other goodies you can think of). with my imp i get 1000-1200 shots from the SAME tank. and how much air left in the tank is important when you have your own airball field with only 3 scuba tanks and like 10 ppl playing all day.
My Guns: chrome and black pump mag
-black 2k sniper 2
-32* vision imp with ups, ECS, reloader B
-was'd imp w/ i-frame and all ups, warp feed
-88/3000 and 48/3000 tanks
because at this point simplisity rules with mags i like i componey who finds a design they can work with and will work and can mess around with
level 10 is not simplisity. some/a lot are a pain to tune properly. I know how to fix mags so its no big deal to me but simplisity would be a drop in bolt with no tuning.

ya but hey theres things known as directions and as long as you follow them its simple
Trial and error
or you get a bad lvl 10 like i got, i tuned more then 10 lvl 10s for ppl and mine just would not work right. made my very mad then -----> it was traded b/c i didnt want to deal with a anti-chop system that didnt work correctly.

ok who did you send it to cause if you sent it to someone like tuna he would have said you know somethings wrong with it and you cant allways hope that everything will be machined perfectly

i didnt send it to anyone i traded it. but i knew something was wrong b/c it would chop everything and i didnt like how i didnt get alot of shots from my tank. so i traded it. im not going to pay someone to try to fix my gun when i could take it to AGD ( i live 30 mins from) they looked at it, then "tuned" it, said it was fixed and when i shot it, it would chop again. i dont have time to keep running back to them saying my guns broke again just to have them "tune" it and then it will break again.

The level headed will. If you can name a "standard" that's truly a make or break item.
The Mag IS a top of the line marker. Top end quality mechanical.
It just isn't an in fashion statement.
oMostly, paintball players don't want innovation. They want hype, flash, and fashion. Why else is so much spent on milling, anno, and the latest clothing?
Paintballers = Ricers that can't afford cars (or they're either out-of-control Ricers or Closet Ricers).
The fact that mags haven't changed in design over the last x number of years is a stupid point to even bring up.
How much have STBBs changed? Or Autocockers? The only real new design that I can think of would be the spool valve, maybe the Freestyle but that is debatable. And I think that E-mags and X-mags are still competitive, especially with the 15 bps rule.
I think that if you could get a tank regulator with a 1600 psi output mags would be even better... Unfortunately that probably won't happen any time soon...
Anyways, please continue on with the flamming and petty bickering, I would hate to interupt what is obviously a very intellectual conversation...
