better yet, if he was curious whether hybrid had permission, he couldve emailed hybrid and asked, but he emails IOI. And he actually has boasted about it in 2 threads on pbn and started this one shortly after.

He thinks he is getting epopular. WEll, it worked a little, he already has a few in this thread humping his leg.

So Because I (and others) happen to agree with him about the subject of the images looking perfectly like(to my eye) the afore mentioned images(maybe not the way he went about doing all of this) I am humping his leg?
I think the images shown here are UNDENAIBLE proof ...or VERY GOOD fact to back up the argument.
I think the argument that was made is PERFECTLY logical and reasonable unless you choose to play devils advocate and just WAN'T to be different. ( Visions of a MP sketch " I came to have an argument. Oh I'm sorry this is abuse...")
So what does that mean about the folks who agree with your logic?

Folks do not agree with you and are arguing a point with some proof(by showing similar images...if not DIRECT copied images) that they are using to make their conclusions.
They are stating the facts as they have seen them and have put them together.(and again, backing them up with PROOF)

You say something...someone takes it bad(and USUALY not the only person that takes it that way) then have to post 10-15 times back peddling on what was said .
You seem to say things in a way that it makes it EASY for people to take it as a personal attack.
Then get bent when they give it right back to you.

look at yakitori's DM thread in this forum. he has pictures of his DM, with bruce lee grips, with the BK symbol clearly on them. even the sites you linked have "BK" on the grips. its either mislabled by the site, or hybrid produced the grips for BK. they even have the "we kill suckers" BK quote on them.

I agree, I and I knew this beforehand. But I honestly believe they are a hybrid product. I am sure the bunkerking name was used with permission or in conjunction with them.

Yaks main point is know one knows of yet if hybrid has the rights. I agree with him %100, hybrid is innocent until prooven guilty. However, the fact remains they are straight up copies and if they did jack them they need to to pay, and I hope they get sued for every nickel they have.

I love hybrid products, great designs and products. I own a few of their rails as well as feednecks and eye covers. But I simply hate, and I do mean hate, anyone that rips off another persons work. This cuts close to the heart with me and I will strongly voice my opinion if hybrid is found gulity of infringing on copied images.

i know this is a bit OT but, based on what i've read, on a really broad and base level, there is basic display of two archaetypes of "philosophies" here.

1) people who dont steal because they dont want to be punished.
2) people who dont steal becausue its the right thing to do.

I know this sounds really bold, and it might bite me in the butt sooner, if not later. I suppose its just that simple for me, I, being simpleton and all.

I simply said that SBF was a canadian - american international copyright corporate crime fighting nerd that is trying to earn e-popularity by going around starting threads bragging about what he has "uncovered" which still isnt much yet. I see a few threads on PBN where most of the comments regard SBF and what they wish the could do to him for his sins. There seems for to be, for the most part, a civilized debate going on in a 'backwater forum' that no one even pays attention to anymore. WHERE THE HELL IS THE WAR? Neither has this 'backwater forum' recieved any marching orders on Hybrid's HQ. Once I see posters at my local fields like-- "HYBRID NEEDS YOU! SEARCH AND DESTROY SBF!" And everyone has stickers like that.... Ok, I degress.






Back to the legal issue, one of two things is possible.
#1 Hybrid has proper licensing of the materials.
#2 Hybrid does not.

If #1 then Hybrid just got a bunch of free publicity and is suddenly is even more AGG.
If #2 they settle their legal matter and move on, it is highly unlikely that this would cause the company to go under. CK grips are not the only thing the make!

Funny, because I thought the exact same thing, but I tend to think of a "snitch" in the same category as "whiny".

Maybe you did the right thing and maybe you didn't, but you're not a hero. I've known a few heros, real heros, and without exception they never brag about what they've done.

I think I have read just about every post on this topic, both here and on PBN and where did he ever say he was a "Hero" for doing what he did? All he did was ask a company a simple question and they responded. He posted both the question and response and that was that. I don't see a "hero" here, I see a man do something he thinks is right.

If he did not bring it to their attention, someone else would have at some point I am sure. This does not make him a bad guy or even a "snitch".
