AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
Ahh maybe you are confused by the image of the solenoid plunger. That CAD isn't right. The plunger and face seal isn't there so I guess it could look a little like an on/off from that image. It doesn't in reality.
This is what it looks like...
The top face seal on the plunger is actually just a 'stopper' blocking the air from flowing out of a small hole.
Yea, thats why deleted my post on the level ten... I was WAY out of line on that...
It just apears to me that the system is using some sort of an on off pin to actuate the movement of the bolt. Sorry to call down the thunder on that one...

Hey, I dont really appreciate that. I own SEVERAL markers that are not agd, and I love them just as much. I may love my mags, but that does not make me a fan boy!

It isn't as you can see from the solenoid pictures above. The solenoid was missing from the CAD so when one of the art guys (not an engineer) made the animation he just put a 'plunger/pin' in to show how the air flow is controlled.
In actuality it's a solenoid plunger with a face seal on the top of it that simply works as a 'stopper' on the hole outlet coming from the gas behind the poppet. It's not a pin at all.

Now that I've seen the animation, and the general maintennance guide. Is it possible to use KC Trouble Free HMP on the bolt o-rings themselves? I got a few ounces of it lying around in my toolbox. Of course I have some dow and evil pus too. Has this lube been tried on the mini?
