      EMI issues?

So is it a software change that will resolve this or will it be necessary to shield the triggering mechanism in this case. Since Xmag/Emags use a HES not like other triggering mechanisms it might be time to shield components or boards to resolve any noise issues...pricey though

I feel bad for DB with the streak of luck he is having with high end equipment but sometimes issues of "quality" should be brought up. Either behind the scenes or in public they make it out there one way or another, Michael Jackson couldn't hide too long before word got out If this was never brought up then how will a company ever know how to resolve the issue? Unless the cycle test their products for life expectency issues?

I float on both sides of this and feel that he could get his gun fixed by AGD with no sweat and cost but after waiting for a product for such a longtime I would be a bit disappointed myself. As I have read he has owned plenty of guns but he tends to like one product better than others, he always goes back to AGD products. So that says alot of how respects the company but is very PO'ed about his gun.

      Just my $.02

So you're ok with the fact that the manufacturer "kinda" fixed it...? Thats bull!

On a different note... This is what happens when you guys build up AGD to some God-like status. You act like they can do no wrong, their poop don't loop, they're markers are flawless... then when a problem arises you act like a bunch of whining babies. Grow up and face the fact that even AGD has issues. Issues that can be dealt with.

Christ, I built a $1300 E-blade... when the lug starts slipping, I dont piss and moan and send myself nasty Emails...

I have two guns with the 3.2 softare on it. One will f/a if you feather the trigger just right. (Xmag) The other will not no matter how hard I try. (Emag)

The fix (as has been stated in SEVERAL of DB's threads) is a new HES. I understand the fact that he's upset. But 5 threads, all the pissing and moaning and it could've been solved by a $10 part.

The f/a issue JUST came up. As in, within this past week. You'd think it was this HUGE deal that AGD had been trying to keep under wraps.

Like I said. I DO feel for DirtyBunny, and I realize that he is a customer and expects more. He is entitled to more. But coming on here and complaining is not gonna get it fixed. One must "contact" AGD to get work done. It wont just mysteriously happen. He has a right to complain, and he has certainly done that.

Ok I am here now. Tried to take the weekend off but it all builds up for monday. Bunny, I am very sorry your having these problems. Of course we shoot every gun at the factory before it ships.

This 3.2 problem is relatively new and I have yet to have one of these problem guns brought to me at the factory where I can look at it on the ocilliscope. Until we look into the problem completely, I do not have a good answer for you except that you will have to use the old software. If this is unacceptable please send the gun back to your dealer for a refund.

In the bigger picture, the statement "the gun didn't work out of the box" is heard world wide by every manufacturer. As much as we try we can't seem to ever get away from that. I think all the other manufacturers would agree with me. The other thing to remember is that when you pay over 800 dollars for a gun, its not for extra perormance or reliablity, you are paying for looks. That fact always seems to get lost when there is an issue.

Lord1234, if you think we would just throw your gun in a box and ship it to you, then I don't know why I am posting here on this forum at all. You know me, the company and the product, if that doesn't give you any confidence then please return the gun unopened for a refund. I can not guarantee that it will work any more than any other manufacturer. We do the best we can and make ourselves open to criticism on this forum so we can try and do a better job.

New products like this software upgrade rarely go smoothly. If you have been in paintball for more than a month you know this to be a fact. You can't have the latest and greatest anything without increasing the chances of issues. I am sorry for any problems people are having and we are trying to resolve them. You have this forum to see what those issues are in a very public way. If this is not enough info then I don't know what else to do.

All this stuff aside... when is Miscue's software going to be officially released? muahaha, that will hopefully fix all bugs and make our gats faster!

DB, sorry to hear your Mag is acting up on you, I wouldn't be happy if I spent that much money and wasn't able to use it on the tourny field, in fact, that would eat me up...

That is one way to look at it.

Tom is right though. It doesn't matter what you do, there will always be one in the bunch that gives you a fit. Anytime you make a step forward, expect something to be there waiting for you to knock you back. It was just a strange mishap that it happens to be with one marker and not the other. You can buy a brand new car and have the engine go out in the first 1000 miles, what would you do then. Take it back to the dealer and say fix it. Which is exactly what they will do. Working with Racegun for almost two years, I have learned that all to well. And it always seem to be a problem when someone else turns a wrench on something, and swears that they never touched it. But life must go on. What he needed to do, instead of get on here an cry so much, is e-mail or call AGD. I am 100% sure they would make it right. The X-Mag is a high end marker, and with all Signature models, there are going to be problems to stay on top of the market. All AGD can do is go with the flow, and make the repairs on an as needed basis. If it isn't broke don't fix it, isn't always the best way to look at things. But sometimes it is the only way. The 3.2 software is having a problem. It seems they have a cure for it at the moment. So let AGD do their thing, and all is well in the end.
