Wow. I'm surprised to see that no one took note the the most power the ball recieves is between 1" and 6" of the barrel. The rest of it is just control over the guidance of theflight path, and possibly noise reduction, and a bit of accuracy. The reason for porting is so that the air will vent, disallowing it to create too much turbulance on the ball. For the most part, 7" - 20" barrels will get about the same distance due to velocity and the fact that all paintballs weigh relatively the same (Flatline not included).

Tell him to shove that in his Hammer Head and smoke it (I would've said Pipe, but Evil makes that).

How does the Hammerhead impart spin again? It doesn't, because the rifling in the barrel is BIGGER than the ball. Look at the pictures of bullets influenced by rifling... there scarred heavily by that rifling and consistantly.

If the Hammerhead could impart spin what type of spin would it be? Axial. TK has already show that Axial spin does not work by rotating a marker up to 30K RPMs - which is much faster than the rifling of the hammerhead could create.

"But the flatline" The flatline imparts spin 90 degrees off axial and is an entirely different discussion.

I'm sorry I don't have Mike's supreme logic... but those seem pretty well to refute the "we beleive" BS that Hammerhead spews after "five years of R&D" that they can't seem to show or explain a single documented test of.
